First time I've seen two flagrants within a minute of each other. He must be angry because he found himself on the transfer list

I’m with you: training homegrown players isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Good luck the rest of the season!

Looks like a much more competitive Great 8 conference this season heading into ASB.

Can't believe I got bounced out of playoffs by ~50 point differential. Shoulda crunch timed the last game to lock in that 4th seed. Worst case, if I still lost, my boys would be heading into relegations gassed out, so probably better that I didn't.

Reminiscent of last season's Big 8 finish where the final playoff spot and 6th place were separated by 9 points total in season Point Differential (and where my team took their foot off the gas in a season-ending blowout to give back 17 points in the final quarter).

But what I really can't believe is the 21-1 team just got knocked out by an 11-11 team with a season-long +14 PD. Both teams even played at the same effort level!

Also, that Raleigh-Dallas game was a total barnburner. 166-162?!

Yeah, it was a really weird finish to the season and an opening night of playoff games. I can't believe Deportivo Saprissa lost. Burlington CT'd me in the last regular season game to fight for that 4th playoff spot. It looks like his missed gamble may result in relegation. Hank the Bank is going to win his 4th straight relegation series.

Madness all over the place.

I wasn't going to beat your at the end, so I went fck it!

let's try something different and messed with my rotations and tactics all together.

But congrats to Diamantes on their win, they're my pick to represent the Big 8

On the positive side, you're still going to promote due to your record.

I don't know, We'll see.

Not sure how that works exactly.

It will be interesting if I do promote, since it may force me to decide if I use my extra millions to be relevant in T2, or just
go with flow and save it for the right time.

Since 5 teams relegate from each league every season, it opens up an extra 4 spots for promotion into D2, on top of those teams that win their league. Those 4 teams are determined by order of record, with PD serving as the tiebreaker. You have the 5th best record in D3, so if any of the 4 teams ahead of you win their league (which seems highly probable), you'll be in D2 next season.

I wish I had your dilemma regarding extra millions. I don't think I stand a chance of staying in D2. My roster is poor - by D2 standards - and I have about a million dollars right now.
