As Justin said - on the voting page each candidate has a mini speech and a direct link to his own thread on the forum. The order of canidates is random each time you visit the page.

Still there are some problems - your chance to get elected is lower when you are not candidating from the start because lot of managers vote immediately when the notification occurs. New is that the vote of each manager is weighted by the lenght of ownership of the team. And newbies can't vote at all I think.

Maybe it could display any prior NT experience with the W-L records and any trophies they won as NT Manager.

This is a great idea! This would give a brief review of ​​who has what achievements and experience for users, who are not as involved in national teams gameplay/not follow NT games...Currently the biggest impact on their decision have ranking of users, what is very missleading.

Generally, I miss something like NT managers ranking. Would be also great to see not only what trophies won particular National Team on page of NT, as it is currently, but also who lead them to this trophies.

If there is no context, those informations will have a wrong impact. Someone who was a NT coach a long time ago might not be worthy to be the current NT coach. Do we inform the voters about the NT experience with other NT ? This is valuable experience too. Candidates may sometimes inform in their speech they were part of a NT staff, but this can't be officially displayed on the election page as there is no official proof. Here again, this might be valuable experience

I would give this infomation about experience in NT in short, compact form, e.g. like this: what season, what NT, record, trophy (if was)

Everybody could evalute by yourself, if some experinece in particular NT (even if many seasons ago) is valuable or not.

Of course, current ranking of a team and nationality of candidat should stay too. It's also some kind of information, which in pack with others can be useful.

Generally, in my opinion a voter should get a compact pack of the most useful informations. I believe that then potential voter would be able to vote more reasonable. Only information about current ranking is not enough for sure amd lead to false conclusions.

To be honest I'm a scepticist in regards of links to speaches. I think even direct link will not encourage most of users to read them. Even now speeches and debate's threads are pinned on the top of forums and highlited on red (access for them are relatively easy) and still are ignored by most of voters. Maybe only some kind of short message like motto, main idea, or main advantage (e.g. I was part of NT during last 4 seaons) could be noticable and readable.

Maybe simply too many similar candidates in France? Neither of them stood out, so cold ranking decided.

Well, I wouldn't also overstate importance of activity in forum. This alos isn't the main factor of good NT manager, the same like ranking. This can be a bonus at the utmost or one of the factors.

By the way, if you have to get to well know cadidate on a NT manager in debate thread across only few days, it starts to be very difficult and isn't the best canidate's credential (to be honest). As we know in debate take active part the most committed users, so if you aren't known in among of the most involved in NT users it isn't the best prognostic.

Furthermore, debates are usually about nothing:-) Contest of the best speeach makers. What you can say if you don't know skills of players etc.? The best confirmation of skills are results and experience with NT. Newbies always need to learn NT enviroment at the beginning, to start "swim" smothly in it, what usually don't go hand in hand with results.

Honestly, it is highly illogical to suggest something that is normally the exception to the rule. Yes it might happen that someone now is more suited to be a NT than an ex-coach, still an ex-coach and specially a successful ex-coach will still be better suited and more experencied than 90% of the candidates. It MIGHT happen that one or another candidate might have a more succesful tenure but the probability of that happening is very low.

Besides it would be great not only for NT voters but also for the players that manage NT's to have such an historic of achievements. Not only the players would feel more motivated to actually perform well with the NT but it would be highly gratifying to see a collection of achievements for the user itself.

Displayed achievements could be:

- Qualifying for the NT cups
- Winning NT trophies
- Reaching semi-final or a final of a NT competition
- Finishing 1st in group of a NT competition
- Going up 10 or more places in the NT rankings
etc
