Same example, but with the old engine - (8689607) . I don`t think it`s that odd.

if its with the old engine it isnt that relevant, we are hoping to reduce the number of such instances, so that rebounding is easier to understand.

I think that these turnovers are a bit too much, I have a match now and a player of mine is making 5 TO for 5 minutes. (he has respectable handling) I think this is not very realistic:)

So I played this scrimmage today (12710080). My team's rebounding rating was strong (medium) while his was awful (high), yet he outrebounded me 60 to 58. I understand that the team ratings donā€™t tell the whole story, but this is a bit extreme.

that result is crazy from just about any angle you take on it.

edit - actually, there some rationale to it if you consider it was blowout mode for tornado in the 4th, and the matchup ratings were relatively close in spite of that.

but yeah, the rebounds are puzzling based on the team rating.

Then I hope that with future changes in both match viewer and GE, the rebound rate will get closer to real life.

I believe that even though it doesnt hurt, since instead of an average 38 reb/game for a team, its 55 but theres no real change in possessions, but would be nice to see that getting closer to NBA numbers.

And PLEASE, i believe this should be now considered: there has to increase the ammount of "and 1", because nowadays: a)you player goes for the shot, misses and get fouled, b)he scores, and c)like 5 times in the season, he gets to score and the extra FT shot.

Oh, and please lower the number of 3pt shooting fouls, even if that means increase the % of 3pt fg made.

In NBA this is called superstar calling, we surely donĀ“t have players good enough to get that respect for referees yet:) But I agree.

Yea, sometimes there is no "And one" at all in a game. Not very realistic.

Hi Forrest,

I have noticed that the player rating of 1 of my players (4721864) has dropped consideratly (from 8.0 to 4.0 for about identical performances) this week. I imagine it has to do with the fact he was a starter in todays game, and got into foul trouble early on, but I can't remember seeing such a big difference before. Is this just a strange coincidence, or also related to the changes made to the GE?

Thanks,
Thijs

Hmm dunno about this but did you guys correct the rebounding part the right way?

This scrimmage is kinda weird (12706461) (huge stat difference, small # difference), 28 OR seems a lot.

And this is another one; (12703199) (small stat difference, huge # difference)
