Hey Nugget I understand what you are saying but just let me vouch for HAX he is always very positive and reasonable and I would hate to see him tarred with the same brush as certain other people. There are some absolute champs on the Guppies like Axis, tremell and MonkeyBiz as I hope you will see in the future.

Are you referring purely to the guppies, or to the FishBowl in general?

I ask because there's two people fighting here, one of whom is a guppy, one of whom is not, and your post appears to be unhappy with the fight itself, not just the actions of one of the participants. And we appear to be treading the now-familiar "blame the guppies" path when I'm pretty sure you're referring to this whole thing, and not just Matt1986's post.

Matt calls a spade and a spade. It's not what I do and I would have approached this in a different way but there is a fair bit of truth to what he said. Fishy, you know me and you know I'm not a mean guy, and I think we get on pretty well in our league, but you have said a lot of pretty negative stuff lately. We all have things we can complain about in this sim. I went 22-0 two seasons in a row and bowed out of the finals first up because i tried to conserve enthusiasm. Now if that's not unrealistic, I don't know what is - what sort of team takes their first playoff games easy so that they can play better in the later ones? No team does that, but the game engine forces you to make such a decision. It is the nature of the beast. Even in real basketball there is unfairness in other ways. If you have gripes with the GE, you should formulate a solution, or at least a coherent outline of the problems, and submit it to the BBs - that's the only way it'll get fixed.

I will also defend Matt here by pointing out Fishy said some pretty nasty things about Matt too, which appear to have been glossed over in the "boot-the-guppies" campaign.

I am probably the only shark who is agreeing with rm. tho, dont get me wrong. i am not encouraging matt to continue his aggressive way. Matt is not totally wrong but hes not right in his choice of words. i, myself had conflicts with fishy before but at the end we realised life is too short to pay attention to our differences. it takes away all our enjoyment for the game so fishy and i have learned to live with our differences.

Beechy will be easy this season, considering he's tanking. Yoda on the other hand I only seem to play once a season and always at his HC (and I generally tie at his HC)...
