Most likely same as last season. Feels safe enough, and content to sell and save a few dollars. However, I'm only speculating.

If so, it makes it interesting for the race to get top spot. Chelsea is a game ahead of HSD. I'm (on PD) 2 games behind Chelsea, and a game behind HSD. This also would see Koop with a slight chance to sneak into 4th and cause an upset or 2.

Na. You're probably thinking of season 19. He snuck into fourth and then managed to make it to the finals. But got owned by a far superior team there. Never had a chance.

But the team that went on to win it all was well deserving. Couldnt bare to see him win another silver trophy =P

Has the standard of the( Edit)top couple of teams in the ABBL dropped off?

I looked back to see what the game ratings were back 4 or 5 seasons ago and in one game Whitebeard had 4 players rank 19.

The players rankings that my guys are currently ranking are not that much better than what Ive had players rank in Div 2.

Yes I can bring a beast or 2 into my team and Im sure Aussies team will be much improved with his players starting in their proper spots, but I dont think either Aussies or my team will be any where near as strong as what some of the teams were 4 or 5 seasons ago. (Whitebeard, WA is a Dump & Mllama)

Injuries in S24 also stopped you from potentially winning it from 4th.

dont 4get 99% of teams neva even tried v wb back then

so he could tie every game = always max enthusiasm

his minutes were always good coz of a blow out every week & he mostly never trained so gs/stam/ft training & amazing gs on his doods all the time

great players
great enthusiasm
great gameshape
= great ratings

no1 has those luxuries now we have 2 burn enthusiasm 2 get wins & most peeps train so cant just pump out game shape training & lots of teams like mummies & me have old dudez that drop skills all tha time

season 23 i tried 2 take wb down & it was so frustrating seeing peeps just throw game after game v him then throw everything @ me

he ended 20/2 & me 18/4

in the league semifinal v WB i was up after 3/4 & even 7 mins 2 go it was a 1 point game but his superior stamina kicked in & it went really bad

all credit 2 WB 4 his awesum management but i was i injury or foulout away from the championship that season

I think its tougher now than when I was around. As it should be.

i think there were 2-3 teams - u, wb & wa that were so good every1 else was scared & were happy 2 just pick up ur leavings :P

That is a really tough question.

Ive sort of unexpectedly fallen into top spot without really aspiring to achieve it.

My primary objectives this season were to avoid relegation, train & save money for an assault on the crown next season.

The curve ball I was intending to throw was myself unloading Camelo after the AllStar week and then falling into 4th or 5th spot whilst saving an extra 120K a week.

My intentions are now quite the reverse and I am hoping to make a couple of major acquisitions either next week or the week after.

My window of opportunity may well be this season as a few of my players are going to jump a bit in salary and a couple of others are going to age a little more, thus making the task actually harder next season

Hard for me to give odds so I guess I will leave that to others to do so, but I do concede that if I can hang onto top spot and make a couple of acquisitions then I guess that I could well be favourite or equal favourite

The business end of the season is still to play and I cant predict what Aussie or Koops or others might do and who knows what injuries will occur.

Also it should be noted that unlike Koops and Aussie, I am a complete novice when it comes to competing in the finals, at this level of competition
