funny.. this thread has kind of become a timeline for me :D

so on feb 20, i posted i did my back.. today, it is still giving me grief.. 4 months of pain! uggg

however, i have hopefully had a breakthrough!!! i am convinced the physio isnt working, or has gotten me so far but not pain free, so today i went and had acupuncture for the first time..

let me tell ya.. i feel frikking fantastic!! best i have felt in months!! i no i am not healed, but the pain relief from the acupuncture is just simply amazing.. the difference i felt walking out of the clinic compared to when i walked in is simply amazing...

this morning i literally could not sit for more than 2 mins without being in agony, now i feel like i could do the dakar rally :D

more treatments to come... but hopefully it just keeps getting better and better from here!

I damaged my L2/L3 in 1996 while I worked as Patient Care assistant at RPRH lifting a 100kg+ patient. Went through a water program at the hosipital but ended up laying on my back for 12 months. Then, like you, tried accupuncture. I found that for 24 to 48 hours after the injections I could leap small buildings in a single bound...

...after that it was Dante's hell! Then, as time progressed, the prolongued treatment began to have an effect. Eventually, I felt the benefits.

So, Skyhookz, I feel your pain (literall/metaphorically) just hang in there, mate.

Besides, don't want any excuses when the Magick beats the Skyhookz in a few rounds time. lol

i aint looking at it as a miracle 1 off cure, but holy crap to be pain free even for 24-48 hours! i will take that at the moment!!!

hopefully the pain will go away after 3-4 sessions and then life can begin anew!

shit might actually get a chance to hold my daughter!

lol 8000 of them actually lol

She's not feeding well and is getting over an infection. My 8 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter have been home from school for the week with chest infections. My wife and I are walking Zombies and my 3 yr old daughter has a constant runny nose and may be coming down with something too. Other than that all is well...lol

Ah the joys of a midlife crisis :D no, not really, moreso just re-living my youth :D

i had the joy of celebrating a birthday recently, and I am still in shock, but i actually got what i asked for, instead of socks and jocks :

http://technic.lego.com/en-gb/Products/new/9395.aspx

i havent built any form of lego i would say in probably 25 odd years.. this stuff is fantastic, definitely not a kids toy! even my wife has been interested in the progress!!

so far i would say i have spent somewhere in the vicinity of 7 hours building, (2 of which spent trying to keep the 3 year old kid at bay as opposed to building anything) and i am about halfway through if that...

the lego itself cost 89 plus i bought the motor pack for 50, so for $140 i think it is well worth it!

any other lego fans out there?

if you could re-live your youth, what would you get back into?
