nothing is worse than having the pressure to win when you're expected to win . . .

Through my experience, nothing has been more intense than the pressure I've faced as a highly ranked US team competing in the B3 knockout stage: carrying what felt like the burden of an entire nation. I'm eager for chance at redemption.

Imagine the burden Magiker felt during his worlds gold NT run. Hat's off to him and all the managers involved.

On the other hand, I have a higher country rank . . . so maybe it's me that should have the pressure?

i think it is interesting how people / athletes deal with pressure. i've never had any success at anything -- my underachieving in BB is pretty much the norm for me -- so how people win is really mysterious to me. i mean, if i was on the Cleveland Indians squad, i would have been "great, we're up 3-1", "uh-oh, now we have to win one of two", "ohmigod, we have to win, how could we have let our lead slip?" same thing with the Warriors against LeBron.

so i was just messin' with Chekreyes in large part 'cause i was imagining how i would be feeling if i was in his shoes. i actually hope he's all LeBron, slowly nodding his head and saying "i got this, pal".

for yourself, yeah, i could see how you could work yourself up into a panic, unable to breathe or swallow -- but being the underdog is for me a psychological advantage. i do wonder, though, if your country ranking is really accurate -- look how well the polls predicted last Tuesday!

I forget who said this but you either win or you lose, so your odds are 50/50.

Actually, I am more curious as to why you listed Larry Spurlock for just $3.5 mil? I mean, if Meek could fetch $5.1 mil, then Spurlock should be worth $7.5 mil-$10 mil...heck, maybe even as much as $13 million!

Does Spurlock have an STD? did he fail the league drug policy? Domestic violence? Announce he would never support Trump? or has joined Trump's transition team?

as i write this, not only no bids, but he is not even bookmarked.

He's essentially not available for the playoffs, so someone would need to be looking for next season. And that also means also paying over a half million in salary before he starts contributing to his new team. I think that is probably a small group of potential buyers.
