Thanks. Indeed I had to try something and this is an achievement I am proud of, I am also very happy that Brakoniecki was the player who missed the crucial 3pointer. Serves him right! At least even if I don't win the title I would have done my duty.

+58 is a nice difference but probably not enough. I was happy when it was around +130 but you then got some unexpectedly large victories on the road to reduce the margin, so I rather hope Sgolba will beat you . He will play at full strength as he is the reigning champion and cup winner and because this win (+against BBB) will probably qualify him for the POs.

I agree there are some irregularities: I still cannot understand how Amenra defeated me in the 3rd final with injuries and players in foul trouble from the 1st half who never got their 6th, nor can I understand how teams of 5 players can win trophies. For the rest I think you are over-analysing the game. As in real life you can have 2 teams play 5 times between them and have very different results and the scenario of A beating B who beats C who beats A is quite common. And that's a good thing, otherwise this sport would become as boring as football!

Don't believe i'm avoiding the debate, and i'm sure you have good arguments - I guess i just needed to let it out but i'm just too tired to keep on writing.

Just wanna apologise to @Takis if i ruined the pleasure of your win with my comments. You deserved this win that one, period.

Tonight, basketball fans in front on their TV were very disappointed by the poor show they had. Sgolba and Spartans had an horrible game with a record-low amount of points scored, the game ending 49 - 63. Amongst notable highlights, NT player Van Brussel didn't score a point, ending with a record of 0 / 15 FG. No 3-pointer was scored during the game, Sgolba missing 11 attempts to the Spartans' 10. 120 rebounds were taken in this game, as both teams struggled to score, Sgolba's shoot percentage ending below 20 %.

"Most fans will be displeased with this" said Spartans' head coach Luis Morejon, "but if you like defense that's one of the best game I've ever seen !"

Not sure many viewers will agree with this point of view however.

I agree with Luis Morejon! Some hard nosed basketball is nice to see from time to time

What a game that was LOL
CT was risky indeed but a win would probably have secured the PO spot for me, wich would made my season perfect.
On the other hand I don't have much to lose because I would be ok with a relegation to div.II.
Time will tell what my future will look like, but I think I'll stay for one more season at least ;)
