P.S. pwnage, if you are thinking of responding to this, you are wasting your time.

If you want to stir it up again, feel free. I ignore you because that is what everyone else wants. You want to antagonize a sleeping situation, its on you when it wakes up.

wasn't trying to stir anything to but knew that you might respond to what i said.

However, if you want me to rip you apart, then let the siuation wake up, but do it in a dead league so we don't flood this forum with all of your bs. Those interested can always just go there. Still gonna be pointless though, as you just cant reason with anyone.

Correct. I responded to you... So who stirred it?

However, if you want me to rip you apart, then let the siuation wake up, but do it in a dead league so we don't flood this forum with all of your bs.

Bahahaha... Pick your forum. Id love to see if you can "rip me apart" with something that is factual for a change... You might have this sudden burst of confidence because I've been quiet for a few weeks, but you dont realise no one disagreed with what I was saying. They just got over hearing about it...

Still gonna be pointless though, as you just cant reason with anyone

I reason with logic. Say something logical and I'll reason with it!

How about you're both idiots that are wrong, then everyone can be happy :)

Just point out what I have said that is incorrect and then I can accept that I am wrong and you can all be happy. I thought we were over it and was happy with that (surprisingly enough), but clearly not...

Now you can hate on me for defending my opinions, but unfortunately I couldn't care less. If I explain something with common sense and receive irrational responses telling me I'm wrong, expect a reply. If I'm called out because I give everyone the peace they enjoy and someone gets a rush of blood, expect a reply.

If you want this forum to be all about hugs and kisses, just ignore me. I think I made it perfectly clear last time that I'm going to defend myself, so just keep looking down at me for telling it how it is. If you don't like people who defend their opinions, be the "bigger person" who sits in the corner and keeps theirs to themselves. You will get your desired result a lot quicker that way...

changing topic here

i was just reading the season 12 thread & it is amazing

their rosters were soooooo weak compared to now they must have been making a fortune

Holtz: The majority of teams appear to be building their teams around a strong big man, generally the centre. Razzle Dazzles are no exception retaining a $70,000+ a week player in their centre position.

lol impressed by a 70k big man

Greeno: agree, the wage bill of some teams must be nuts. Is it worth it?

Steves Crocs were 400k & every1 was amazed

Holtz: I only have 2 players with a salary over 35K, the most expensive is under 42K. My players salary is just over $230,000.

that was a championship team then went 17-5 & took the championship but a tanking team now

Greeno: my team total is a measley 163K.

wow they went 11-11 for 5th

funny looking at who was there, only player still here is adam but he was great 8 back then

Much has changed in bb since then. Even holtz was able to win a Div 2 championship back then.

their rosters were soooooo weak compared to now they must have been making a fortune

Not really. The season i relegated from Div 2 (from memory season 12) I had a salary of 190k and was making between 50k-70k pw. Last season I was spending a bit over 300k and was pulling in 150k-170k pw. That's how much the economy has changed since then.

Steves Crocs were 400k & every1 was amazed

150k of that salary was Steve McNamara. He was what undone the crocs. He was trained from the start and he couldn't sell him out of loyalty. When you throw in Pablo Fromista (his 70k c) his team was very unbalanced meaning lesser salaries kept stopping him from promoting. He was running at a loss for at least 3 seasons before he relegated... I know that because he is my brother.

Fair call. And you may be right.

I might've just wasted a month of trading with one bad trade.

You will waste a lot more if you don't sell immediately...

It's like the radford situation (without trying to drag out another pointless debate). It's not the transfer fee, but the unsustainable salary that will cost you. The longer you hold out trying to gain a higher sale price, the more it costs you in weekly loss of revenue.
