May be I'm mad, but...

The idea of creating a section for ads and scrimmage split by macro areas (Continents? Main Languages?) could be a good thing.

...but I proposed this solution, many posts before my second reminder, and this solution was included between two that Charles proposed to our BB after the first day of "discussion"...

Anyway I'm still waiting for an answer since like 10 days about this thread and 3 days after "reminder"... after that I've seen that another usefull thread has been closed, rules have been changed after closing a thread (closing thread 5 PM, change of rules 7 PM), after that some people told me that in some federations someone speaks about scrimmages, ads and valuations... mmm... something is strange to me, don't you? We had this for community... now we have only for "Federated supporters"? What's that? A caste of nobles?

My idea of a new forum was because, as have you read, many people seems to don't like us, so WHY (I ask you in a different contest, ok?) should I stay in a place with people that doesn't appreciate me (may be us... as italian people, but I do not want to generalize)?

I'm a professional basketball trainer and I teach my girls right now (by boys before) to play with logic, cunning, honesty and intelligence, because play a game is like a day in your life. I don't understand why we wan,t here in global and on BB-Forum, do something without logic and smartness when there are many more important questions to solve (IMHO), but this a principle, right now, that I would like to solve, that's why I'm so persistent

Yeah whatever flots my boat! What if everyone started complaining in global forums because they didn't like something???
For example: I hate farm teams because they really ruin point for NT but i'm not complaining...
I think its alright complaining about game engine etc. but not about some useless thing like ads lmao.

cannot see why a different style of forum moderation should be rammed down their throats

This was rammed down everyone's throats - not just yours. I was a bit annoyed with the transfer ads being cancelled in Canada, I did not see the issue. However, as a country without a GM, I read the new rules and automatically assumed that I had to follow them.

Now, what you're saying is that if Canada had a GM (or GMs) it would have been their discretion, and their discretion alone, to decide if we kept our transfer ad sticky? Or are you saying that only Italy should get to keep the transfer ads, because they are the biggest country with the most supporters?

I can live and let live. Just sign me back up to be a GM so I can also do things for Canada that are not allowed in any other country.

"live and let live" moderation style may yield good results in terms of user participation to the community (and, as a consequence, user retention and monetization).

I think BB in general is good with the "live and let live" philosophy. On the other hand, they had a specific vision here. Whether it was right or wrong or if there are other options can be debated. But allowing a handful of countries to get an in-game advantage should never be allowed, even if it is only a perceived advantage. This is true whether the majority of users in the game want it or not.

Dude, You're talking about a place to organize scrimmage. Call it a competitive advantage seems to be a great exaggeration!

I can understand this speech if it were done for the post on the ads that may allow transfers a facilitative tool for transactions.

But both the posts (for the assessments and for scrimmage) are nothing esclatante.

Said that, I think if the choice of BB is that I think is right to take note and take away from those forums BBitalia and avoid all these discussions in order to conform to a single BB inside perimeter.

But it is killing a service for newbe and killing the meaning of the forum. In the future the main forum for Italians will be extra BB and we live all better.

I am talking about transfer ads. While it was not the subject of the thread, the original poster seemed to be talking about ads in general, at least that's how I read it. Many others in this thread also talked about transfer ads.

If you just want to talk about scrimmage ads, I do not really care too much about those and would be willing to "live and let live" there. But I personally prefer the new system, especially the part for supporters which allows you to find a team whose flag you do not have.
