lol 8000 of them actually lol

She's not feeding well and is getting over an infection. My 8 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter have been home from school for the week with chest infections. My wife and I are walking Zombies and my 3 yr old daughter has a constant runny nose and may be coming down with something too. Other than that all is well...lol

Ah the joys of a midlife crisis :D no, not really, moreso just re-living my youth :D

i had the joy of celebrating a birthday recently, and I am still in shock, but i actually got what i asked for, instead of socks and jocks :

http://technic.lego.com/en-gb/Products/new/9395.aspx

i havent built any form of lego i would say in probably 25 odd years.. this stuff is fantastic, definitely not a kids toy! even my wife has been interested in the progress!!

so far i would say i have spent somewhere in the vicinity of 7 hours building, (2 of which spent trying to keep the 3 year old kid at bay as opposed to building anything) and i am about halfway through if that...

the lego itself cost 89 plus i bought the motor pack for 50, so for $140 i think it is well worth it!

any other lego fans out there?

if you could re-live your youth, what would you get back into?

Great game tonight Skyhookz. It was a ripper of a game to watch: literally basket for basket with each team opening up small leads before the other pegged them back. It seemed fitting that we started the last quarter with the game tied up. I was really looking forward to the game going to a last minute shot and was very suprised to see my boys open up the game with 5 minutes to go. Csorgo stood up in the finalminutes, desperate to make the score look respectable as Rodriguez struggled to defend him from outside. In fact, he hit 2 big 3s over Hot Rod in the dying minute to bring the score to within 7. A great game though. I have to be honest though, really thought my boys would be flat after CTing the Flames on Tuesday. There was nothing flat about Hot Rod's 15 point opening quarter or Stumer's outstanding 20+/20+ effort. I've never had a tea lke this: they constantly showing me what they can do.

I've observed for some time the uncanny ability of either Dogan or Hot Rod to step up when the other goes quiet, or for Kirch and Stumer to take up the slack when the dynamic duo are quiet, but this team works so well together; gelled so perfectly that they are a joy to watch. Makes BB pretty damn exciting. Especially after tanking and saving and waiting.
