Wow Sphinx just offloaded a LOT of talent! (must say though, got a pretty fair amount of cash in the process) Kinda sad seeing some of them go though, I played against them many seasons ago back when we were dueling in III.

Saw that. You know, a few months ago, you could buy an entire team for that kind of cash. Don't know if that's still true though (unless we're talking about a decent division IV club).

Yeah, there is some definite hyperinflation going on in the market right now for players of any real skill level. Kinda sucks for people who sold players at the end of last season, but thats how things go.

When they first hinted about the economic changes, I was ready to sell both of my SFs, but held them until the end of the playoffs. When I finally unloaded one, I listed him for 400k above his maximum transfer compare, and he sold for almost a million more than where I listed him. Sooner or later, I'll have to unload Lovász as well, but it won't be anytime soon.

I may be alone in this, but I really like the economic changes, as it makes it possible for a marked separation to exist between the buying/selling price of well-trained players and partially-trained 19yos with decent potential (which, IMO, was the problem when there wasn't much money around).

That's unfortunate, especially considering his BB background, but isn't that our league's first?

Wow, that's a shocker. It sucks, because he's taking a lot of decent American players down with him (Legget, Currie, Kearney).

Selfishly, I'll say it rules, though, because RV has been my rival since I got here.

edit: unless Plexiglass was. I can't remember.

Yes, and Leggett was our defending MVP.

I forgot all about that. And after the fit I threw? Jeebus.

Well, it wasn't just you. Biased as I was, I didn't think that Leggett was in fact the league MVP.
