What I claim is that the boost of playing TIE and the daily decrease of enthusiasm afterwards are numerically not always the same. At high values of enthusiasm the drop is much quicker and so is the boost of a TIE.
In the very active italian forum there are claims that it is not possible to play with enthusiasm above 10 (with 3-4 days time distance between two games), just because at the certain level of enthusiasm the boost and the drops compensate...

Yeah, it's true that it will decline rapidly the higher you get. So basically you'll get:

Constant - Decline* = total increase.

* Gets higher, the higher your current enthusiasm.

Just an example.

I played TIE for my last 4 games and my enthusiasm just went from 11 to 10 today... First time it jumped to 7 and back, then to 9, went down to 7, then 10, few days after it was 8 and now it jumped to 11, and back to 10... If you're not confused, I hope this is helpful:)

Nah, it's not a percentage. If so then there is no real reason to CT in the first place. I'd gladly maintain a 11 enthusiasm for a game or 2 instead of using a CT just reducing it to 5 again. That would be pointless.

I have heard from somebody that his enthusiasm dropped from 8 to 3 playing CT in one game. If he hasnt made a mistake, then I would assume it is a percentage based drop...

Probably the same as going TIE. It will reverse back to it's minimal cap of 1.

If it's a percentage. Why would you ever take it easy. You could just crunch time at 5 whenever you need to.
Same goes for whenever you took it easy. You get a enthusiasm of 10. Why would you sacrifice 6 points for one game if you can just milk it out till 5 for 3 games.

oh well, we'll probably know when the playoffs are over. Every will have at least taken a CT with an high enthusiasm.

Of course not.

Playing CT with enthu of 10 will give way better ratings than playing CT with enthu of 5. That's why you try to get it as high as possible.

+ When you CT with 5 you need 2 TIE's to come back at the default level, which means that you play 2 games with a lower enthu than normal, when you CT with 10 you end up around 6 or 5 where you still have a higher enthusiasm than the default level.

And when you have a high enthusiasm you can play normal and get huge ratings, playing normal with enthu of 9 or 10 must be better than playing CT with 5. Then after the game you still got 9 or 10 enthu whichs drops to 7 or 8 to the next game, 1 TIE and you are back on top.
