Yesterday, I got the idea to sign up for election as scotlands u21 coach and wrote a BB-Mail to S.Bock asking him what he'd say to my idea, what he's been doing and experienced in his time as your nt-coach. He told me that you were sort of suspicious of foreigners because of your experience with your current coach rick james and that i probably won't have any chance of getting elected because Taintum is keen on doing this job. Afterwards I checked for a while to see what you've been talking about in this forum and saw that Taintum probably is the best fitted to do this job - and that he really cares about what's happening to your National Team. So I think I shouldn't apply for the U21.

But I really love Scotland and I realized that you still have problems to find enough managers to train your young trainees - so I would really love to help there, if I can and maybe help as well as I can with the national team/ u21 ...

Having seen what happened with Rick James I'd like to take over his position this election. Said this I'd love to get some help from you as a scout (or smth like that considering we haven't got loads of players) but it could be a step. I mean...we had a bad experience with Rick James that promised to be keen on U-21 NT but he hasn't been at all...this could be a way for you to know our league and managers better and get yourself known bt them so that in future we all know who could run for a NT position...this is my idea obviously and I'd like to get some feedback from other managers but I think that it could be a reasonalble idea. Let's keep in touch anyway for further developments...

Yes, I've seen that in your posts, especially in your "open letter to Mr. James". The idea to run for the U21 position came to me when I first saw Rick James bad ratings and I thought that even though I don't have the vast experience of someone playing this game for a couple of seasons, I would really try and invest a lot of time to make up for that (which I'll be doing anyway because I'm already too addicted to this game^^). But the main thing I want is to learn - and that's something I probably can do even better when I'm trying to help you build up a competitive NT/U21. So I hope we'll get to work together one way or another and bring the U21 back to life again :-)

Some words from me concerning the U21-job, scouts, and the senior team...

1) It's important that we get a new/ a real U21 coach! I'm sure every new one will be better than Mr.Rick... and of course if the most experienced scotish manager (Taintum), wants to do it, he's a good choice... but for this discussion we have to wait until the election starts.

2) Scouts are important and helpful, but what we really need are managers who want to train scotish guys! For example for the senior team the scouting is not a real problem. There are only about 25 interesting players, that should be possible for the NT-coach. But I had/have the problem, that just 30% of the NT-players get training.

3) Everybody who wants to help the U21 and the NT, should look at the transferlist for scotish guys.

4) We need to "save" scotish guys from teams who will come bots. Taintum helped me with Murchieson, now I found Berry. Cause I called them into the NT, they were later at the transferlist. => If you see a good/young scotish guy in an inactive team, just send me a mail!

5) If we find just 6-8 managers, who really train 1-2 scotish guys, it's possible to bring the team back into the TOP60.


6) Battle of the British Isles.
I think, there we had the best games in this season. As you all know the Euro-Qualifaying was really disapointing, but the victory against Wales and the real close game against England was ok.

Well - then I'm one of those managers. I'll just have to find one or two suitable trainees after the draft and in a couple of seasons, we'll have Scotland back into the TOP 60 (at least).

This lad (9678531) is certainly a good training prospect. Although he will be 22 soon, he's had fantastic level of ID training which is probably the slowest. He could be a good NT player in 2 seasons....

I looked through the players, but I'm not sure if we need them; cause the 19-20y guy are probably allready to old (it's allready end of the season), but I'll think about it!

There are 22 teams active, 4 are not connected since a few days and 1 with 3 players.
Next 21NT will have 11 players from first league and 4 from second leagues ( from first league 5 with 18y, 4 with 19y, 1 with 20y and 1 with 21y 1 pot 4, 1 pot 5, 3 pot 6, 1 pot 7, 3 pot 8, 2 pot 9) ( from second leagues 4 18/19y pot 6/7) and I think that only 6 / 9 have been training (is not going to be a good team).
Next season you will have only 1 player from under 21 (pot 9 salary 16) I don't think it is better than others.
In season 13 NT will have only my player.
In season 14 i think 2 players from Last Drop (C pot 6) and 1 from Abbey (pot 8).
In season 15 2 players from Mount (pot 8 and 9) 1 from Oltrepo (pot 6) and 1 from Ice Fiord (pot 8).
NT 3 C: Forbes 26y 66k pot 6, Crum 24y 64k pot 6 and MacMichael 25y 59k pot 6 (not improve) for others C have to wait 2 season. I think that only Ratliff, Foulis,Barron, Donnellson, Johnson and Nish receive training ( 21-23y).
I think we need all the players that I've mentioned (we can not lose anyone).

When I have time I will look for 18-20y outside Scotland

i suggest you use the scouting tool to do that.

there is a scouting tool? is it implemented in the bb-game or something you'll have to get/download from somewhere?
