Whoever told you to sell all your players was awful.

The most prominent need you have now is getting a team. I think I went through what you need but you really should start collecting new players now or you will be forced to get some inept ones.

Main priority for me
1) defence
2) passing
3) scoring
4) rebounding

You are in division IV so you want players with at least respectable defence and at least average in the other three. Obviously a PG needs more passing and a C needs more rebounding.

I think you need at least 8 guys.

i agree with you except would flip rebounding and offense
:) as long as jr is sufficient (pain to train later)

u can shoot 40% and i shoot 35%
but if i get 10 OR to your 2 OR :)

but thats just my taste in basketball i like a slow paced game, spurs esque

There is an awful amount of proficient sarcasm flying around this respectable thread. It's atrocious. (Have we covered them all yet? I think we missed one or two...how pitiful)

That was just plain atrocious... and yes i agree there is a Colossal amount of sarcasm in this marvelous thread which i find very Inept and wondrous. my team is on a tremendous winning streak and lost a cup match to a sensational team which is just plain mediocre my trainee played strong but JEP[player=Jordi Elo Parrado] played fairly awful since his Gameshape was Average. the other teams star player[player= highest salary guy] was legendary which made me feel pitiful but our rebounding was proficient and our outside scoring was Prolific too bad the other team had such a prominent rebounder/shot blocker p.s TSA jr=Tommy saint-amand
I think i covered all of them and if i have not then that is just plain Awful

Investing in the stadium is cruicial but is not that important early on in the game.

Thats the first thing a manager should do - I sold out 18.000 seats in DIV III, that gave me a huge advantage when I finally moved up.

With a new team he wont be able to compete in DIV III anyway, so it is better to get in a position where you can stockpile money for a season and wait for a good moment (usually the offseason is the best time) to purchase players to get a competitive team for the next season.
