You can pick up a few guards on the TL with star+ potential super cheap at the moment. Id suggest picking a few players with average or higher outside d jump shot and driving. You can 1-2 18yo while still staying competitive, from there id buy a few older players that come cheap and use them to get a quick way out of division 5. Any serious manager should be able to get out of D.V in a season or two.

Thanks for your help. I only got mad because I'm young and some comment are not well interpreted. If I offend anyone I apologize. Thanks guy that deleted his or her post.

You guys are crazy to shoot down this player so quick. I have a player eerily similar to this guy and I plan on making him into a valuable inside oriented PG/SF. I actually value his low JS/JR because of his low potential. I can make his OD/HA/DR/PA quite high while staying under his cap.

My player will look something like this after 3 years training:

Salary: 21k

Jump Shot: average Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: prolific Handling: prominent
Driving: prominent Passing: sensational
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: proficient
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: respectable

The same player with Prolific/Prominent JS/JR would be 30k. This leaves me with little wiggle room to close out his PG skills to a higher level (ie Wondrous passing).

I could just buy a player with a higher ceiling, but I don't really have the bankroll or desire to train and sell players turnkey style. I prefer to train to use and too many high salaries will hurt me.

Bottom line, I think a player in this mold could be quite viable (if not entirely optimized for maximum resale value)

i wouldn't say so, he won't score much but he is defensiv ok and will be alright in offense through his passing.

Players like that don't work on this game.

He will shot sometimes (can't pass because of the OD monsters) and will miss everything.

10 Jumpshot, 7 Jump Range, 17 passing

Look at the pitiful games that he puts.

Well that doesn't mean that Lenoir played good or won the game for that team. As you can see on the previous seasons also, he isn't very effective.
