Here is an example of a game i played against DBR. A LI versus Motion that went into over time. Both teams using neutral defense and same effort.

(36558219)

But I felt i won the game by virtue of the HCA.

Well, if i may say, LI do not seem to have that much of an advantage over motion. It would still depend on the player match-ups in the game.

He lost that game because he has no Offensive Flow & got called for way too many Fouls. He could play that again & not get called for anywhere near that many Fouls & win.
I like to run Motion, won 2 Cups playing that way, but there is no doubt that LI is the best Offense. The Ball inside isn't anywhere near as hard as it should be, to get to your bigs, & LI is based mainly on 3 players Motion or RnG 4 players. So LI is also a more cost affective way to build your team. Add to that the Cost of buying some of those HUGE bigs out there, hard to see how LI ever loses, if done right ;)
Me, I just like to do things differently, that's why I play Motion quite a bit.

Pretty much. I don't blame anyone for running LI as there only or main offense, but I do like to play Managers who have a bit of creativity.

Nothing I like more than having an oponent that always plays the same tactic, jojo (evil laughter like Skeletor or The Joker inserted here)

LOL, me to but with LI you can play the same way all the time with far less chance of being hurt by it.
Motion all the time can be slowed rapidly by the 3-2 zone as where 2-3 zone allows the Guards way too much time to move the Ball, as pressure on the Handlers is reduced too much. So your left with M2M as the best Defense.
My thoughts at least

Agreed. 2-3 would do the trick if that team has terrible guards or the oustisde top scorer is injured. Hey, don't even remember the last time I play 2-3, jeje

What I really really really really really really really really love is to have such a great roster that you can play waht you want. Eventually I'll do it!!

I like the idea of a 4 at the 3 or even a 5 at the 3, as long as he can Defend outside, & run M2M. The only advantage of running that same idea with 2-3 zone is you'll get the Rebounding advantage on the Defensive end, but also the Offensive end as well. Problem though with that is, again, the reduced pressure on Ball handlers.
