You hit the nail on the head. The original developers have more important things to do with their lives, as hard as that is for some of us to understand or comprehend. C'est la vie.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Too bad he had to abandon his dream job (developing this site) for some research project. lol

Its really useless to argue with you guys how to run a business properly. Its not best practice to abandon a community of 60k users and let it die - no matter if you are a genius or not...

I have one too, just made it a couple weeks ago, I guess Ill save up money on that so if for any reason BB shuts down I will have a lot of money in BasketSim. I have no Idea how that game works either, I made my arena Capacity like 10k and I have to wait like 25 days for it to complete..

It hasn't been abandoned. There is still one dedicated developer toiling away (BB-Marin).

I can assure everyone that a new feature is currently being worked on.


i would say even more then one, marin is the only one who speaks outside but at least on the bug the other bb are busy too.

T This game is by far the best availiable on the whole interwebs and still it is abandoned by its developers. I really dont get it.

I think what Knecht is trying to say is that this game has a really good potential, but is not exploiting it. I played many online games and i can assure you that this game could be really profitable. You can have an awesome idea, but if you don't know how to sell it, you probably will fail.

If buzzerbeater had also a developer with the profile of BB-Charles but from the business management side, we would be talking about a game with a bigger structure(something close to hattrick).

BB-Marin is doing a good job, but we need someone who can bring fresh ideas to improve BB as a company which in my opinion it's where this game lacks.

It's just my opinion based on my experience on this game(that doesn't pretend to be a complain), i would invest money on a managing director instead of more developers.
