It'll take a few months to get to 5500 users to fill every division. (1-5) then will start the concern of D6, but highly unlikely unless there are babies being born right now that like B-Ball. Or little kids (7-9) Cause you gotta be 10+ yrs old to play the game I think.........

If you have no clue what your talking about, don't feel obligated to help on the forums. I know in real life you are probably a superhero so ever time you here the word "Help" you emerge from out of nowhere wearing a cape and save the day, so it might be tough to ignore those calls of help here. But there is greater danger out in the world, so leave these small BB problems to us, and you go save the damsel in distress.

Ramquizibo wins our "citizen of the week", a mock award that is actually not praising citizenship or helpfulness, for these kind words of wisdom. Clearly his mother taught him very well "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" A classy quote, from a classy guy!

It has been leaked that GM Rory Cochran feels that they are still 1 piece away from finals contention, and rumor has it that the Blake Street Bombers are pursuing a Possible ringer, to finish rounding out the team. No word yet on whom it is, or any details surrounding what they were looking for. All that was leaked was they are actively pursing the bloke, and that "He fits in with the current team mold that is established"

"The guy would have been a heck of a fit. But the asking price is just too much, and we're not budging!"

Mr. Cochran who was the player you were targeting?

"Won't give a name but can tell you this:
Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: prolific
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: strong
Driving: respectable Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: proficient

The only concern we had, was could the boy play any defense?
We here in Denver are confident though, that if not another gem like this appears on our radar through our stellar scouting division, that the team we have is a competitive hard working bunch of guys, and can get the job done!"

BREAKING NEWS

In a surprise move, coach Koby Karl has announced Gerry Cathey, whom did not get picked up off the TL. Will not be cut immediately afterall... Coach Karl has announced that Cathey will be starting at SG for tomorrow's match-up vs the New City Fromos. Speculation is Mitch Power, will be starting at PG, so Cathey will start at SG, to give them that pure PG presence out there still. If Power struggles to find his shot anything like Jung did... this could blow up in BSB management's faces... or it could be a coaching genius move of a lifetime.

Shoot-A-Round and practice for tonight's big game is underway. Mitch Power, anticipated to be the starting PG will not be in the line-up tonight. "With it being our first home game, and a league game, an easy match-up for the cup... We're going to give Power the cup game to show us what he's got, and let Heath Christiansen show us what he can do vs the New City Fromos tonight", says Coach Koby Karl. With Christiansen starting, the New City Fromos will most undoubtedly have to change around their game-plan for tonight's game. "Christiansen has a deeper range, better handling, better driving, and can do some damage inside. We also feel that Christiansen's rebounding ability will give us a bigger edge, since the Fromos are not a horrible rebounding team."

Gameplan

Part of the Gameplan as explained by the staff of the Blake Street Bombers is containment. Bradbury Locker played 24 minutes in the last game and shot 57.1% That's too high of a FG for Coach Karl's tastes. Jarvis Ross attempted 6 3s, and converted on 2 of them. So they want to limit his open looks since he doesn't have a problem pulling the trigger. They want to be smart about guarding Calvin Donaldson, this aggressive player got to the FT line 6 times vs the Panthers, converting 5 of them. Murtagh and Randle are a pretty powerful rebounding combo. murtagh snagged 17 and Randle 11 in their last outing. So we plan to box them out, and take advantage on the longer rebounds with our superb outside rebounding. The Fromos aren't very adept at moving the ball around, its a lot of isolation offenses, we feel that that plays to our advantages. Murtagh, Ross, and Locker are all pretty good defenders, but we have complete faith in our offense to move the ball around, and get good looks, and take care of the ball. Locker's defense is also very aggressive, so he's one of the least efficient players in our league. Their team revolves around Murtagh from our best scouting reports, so as long as we stop Murtagh, their house of cards will come toppling down!

We also are wary of Everett Milligin, whom they didn't play in the opener, but may play tonight. He's got what it takes to be a superstar... but we'll see.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!
Heath Christiansen's lack of effort in practice, and bad attitude earns him a spot in the doghouse. Mitch Power is back in the starter spot, and GM Rory Cochran is seeking out "other possibilities" for The cup and rest of the season. More to come as the story breaks!

GM Rory Cochran, and Coach Koby Karl have found, targeted, and are in the process of acquiring a player they believe to be a GREAT fit for the team.

Cochran states, "he gives us the best of both worlds... Outside Defense and Passing ability on par with Jung, Range like Langevin, Jump Shot and Shot Blocking like Alston, Driving and Inside Scoring like Gerry Cathey, Average stamina and Free Throw ability, and he's as good a rebounder as Fan and Wang. He is EXACTLY what we have been looking for. What with the timing of Chritsiansen's attitude, and all that, and Gerry's ...less than ideal fit on the team ATM. We'd be foolish not to get him!"

When asking the Coach he had this to say "Kid gives us options! Inside, Outside, facilitating, defending, Kid just flat out can ball. That gives us options. 7-8 more pure athletes like this guy, and I could coach from home and retire to Palm beach!"

BREAKING NEWS
An hour before tip-off and the commissioner of league V.30 announced a new team, YOU KNOW IT joins the league. YOU KNOW IT replaces the Rusty Trombonnes.

Tom Ace, Head scout for the Blake Street Bombers: "It'll be interesting to see what the new ownership does, its so close to game-time not a lot of transfer list moves can be made, what will they do with their arena, but as far as their team... they are 18 players deep, contain 21 year old Tony Eaton who appears to be a capable scoring guard, but after him the talent drops off dramatically... they aren't very young, and the youngsters not much potential. Expansion teams always bring something new to the mix. Can't wait to see what they bring!
