Quality is more important than quantity everywhere. Except money, I win 50K at blackjack that was money someone got from soliciting prostitution originally... I could care less so long as it was my 50K, and I didn't get hepatitis from the money somehow.

This is just my personal opinion, and I know some of you guys won't like it, but I could care less if there's a hundred new posts in one the newspaper threads. I don't have to read them. As far as I'm concerned, you can write a new post every time one of your players picks up a foul, or misses a shot, or takes a dump. As long as you're having fun and enjoying BB, then more power to the newspapers!

I couldn't agree more.

how come the offaite is like, ghost at times??? At times there's only like, 6 people out there??? It's crazy! Not like here, there's always something going on in these forums. But I'll limit myself.

AND it struggles to even get to 10 people at once, and 10 is very few to me. We came close, but I only seen it broken when this site was down.

Sure when you are onsite there is 100s of people online, but the 6-10 that are online of the offsite would probably be the same 6-10 that would actually read what you post both onsite and offsite.

I find them really annoying as thats all there is in the USA Forums now.
I don't want to ruin all your fun though.
And that's exactly why I came up with this (219973.1)
SO GO CHECK IT OUT! VOTE! and get ignored by the BB's and GM's.

speaking from communications standpoint. A good way to get listeners/readers/target audience, is to be controversial, or to piss them off.

Do whatever you want in my opinion. As long as a GM doesn't contact you about spamming it is allowed. I personally don't read any of them, but then again there are a bunch of papers with hundreds of posts, and I just don't have time to read all that nonsense. Sure, these diaries can piss some people off, but I would hate for some of these writers to become self-concious over a computer game that is intended to have fun! Play the game as you wish, and as long as you are not breaking any rules then you can go about this game however you please :)

Of course some good humor here and there would make me more inclined to read these posts, and I enjoy debates as well ;) (especially about SB). I also agree with Troy when he says a good way to attract readers is to be controversial or piss people off. Of course you shouldn't just be controversial for the sake of having a different opinion, but if you believe in something don't be afraid to say it.

"Say what you think, not what you think you should say." ;) haha
