Does this discussion really belong in the bugs forum? I don't think so. Please, have such discussions elsewhere. I will allow only one more post which better contain a link to a continuation of this discussion and then I'll close the thread.

A question to both of you. Are games like Wolfenstein and Call of Duty banned in Germany?

So basically for a german living in Spain for example, it's ok to play the original versions, or sell nazi symbolics, emblems, tattoos?

he had to follow the the spanish laws, even when i would say that the last 3 thing aren't ok after my moral standards.

Also he isn't allowed to sell the nazi symbolis to germany, since those products ain't allowed in germany.

Would you prefer to play the games mentioned in original or modded version?

don't like this kind of games that much, but on movies it would disturb me. On games i have the tendency not to be to close to the story, so i am not sure(there i disliked more things like green blood etc. to make it possible to sell it to younger persons)

Just curious...
Are songs banned too? Or is it just the nazi symbols that aren't allowed?

Like, is this song remix that uses the WWII speech allowed in Germany?

this sond is allowed, after an amazon test. Didn't understand the speech, But if the text is antisemitic you can get banned.

In Australia the rules are very slack. Motorcycle clubs and skinheads freely wear NAZI symbols. You can have then in any art or game no problem. We have even had some Holocause deniers come and give speeches here althogh they do have a hard time getting a visa. We live in a very free society here (although Big Brother is watching us a lot more now) which has a lot of benefits but obviously carries some risks.
