I believe more individuals would help out the smaller nations than vice-verse. I for one who would be one of those as I would help out one of the Caribbean nations if I could.

How about if you had to pay for a nationality for the player. The club could pay 50K per player and get that player citizenship in a country of their choosing, making the player a dual citizen.

For example I have an American draftee and I buy citizenship from Jamaica for that player. If I were training him for the U21 and he had skills suitable for both teams, the manager can decide who he wants his player to play for and that would be his NT for the rest of his career.

I don't think just paying for it works. Only change if the player has lived/played in the 2nd country for a number of seasons. Which happens all the time. Been a few players born in USA who played here in Australia who went on to play for Australia at the international level.

I can see where you are coming from with having the player play in the new country, but that does not work for those of us based in a larger country who wants to train a player for the smaller nations.

That is why I think buying nationality is the way to go. I would like to make some of my draft picks be eligible for a different nation other than the one I'm based in all the time. Even if I only can change 1 player per season. Remember other browser based games like Battrick and From the Pavilion allow youth players to be recruited from different nations.

And thats why i suggested that players only can go to smaller nations then the one they come from originally.

I like this idea. This would be a great option for those small countries. The definition of small is based on the number of active teams in that country at the end of that 5th season (aka the start of 6th season).

Say, players would change the nationality if these players had been played for 5 CONSECUTIVE FULL SEASONS in that country.

I like this idea but at the same time I dont. I like it because you would have the option of changing their nationality which would increase your revenue and boost your attendance but I dont like it because it would eventually complicate the game and give cheaters another way of ruining countries , even though the cheater might get banned the player they fired would still be retired and you cant change that.

This is a good idea.
In europe you can have one "nationalized" player in your active roster. Obviously different countrys have different legislations for granting nationality. BB would need a single easily understandable rule for double nationality.
I think U21 should be off the table, so you could not convert before player turns 22. This means 4 seasons of "country experience" before conversion (read: double nationality). Player who have played not just listed for NT or U21 are ineligible.

If this is to be implemented, I would put something like 6 seasons. Basically if you trained your player fully, you can change him to your nationality and get financial benefits.

If a player is bought as an 18-20y old, he can play for his new NT, as soon as he's ready anyway 24-26 yrs.

If he's bought as a half trained 22y, he can still contribute a lot from his 28th to 32 years

If he's bough as a finished product, in need of some polishing as a 24, he can still play for a couple of seasons.

Players trained somewhere else, bought at 25-26+ cannot be converted.

Less than 5-6 seasons, I don't like it. And I'm not sure if I like it at all...
