Injuries are part of any sport , I just feel that the length of time should be more accurate. 2 weeks is 14 days not 28 as in my case last season with a key player. I am sure other managers have had this happen to them as well. Hopefully down the line the BB GODS will fix this issue.

I wouldn't mind getting rid of it altogether either. Even though it's a sports game, it's still a game.

Since they want to make it more realistic, I don't really have a problem with injuries, but agree that the estimation is god awful. I understand that in the real world injuries can take longer to heal than initially predicted, but as a game I'd like for them to give us exact time frames (includes the arena expansions).

If that's too much to ask, then I think that if they simply switched from "weeks" to "days" that would help it. When it's been 2 weeks (for a 2-week injury) and it still says he'll be out for 1 week it's annoying, because it could be 1 day or another full week, we really have no idea. I think that if they timed it like the arena expansions (by days remaining), it would at least give us a better estimate of when we can count on a player, even if it says "9 days remaining" for 3 days straight heeheheh

We were just talking about the pain it is when a player gets injured and not long after I noticed that Hoosier ( Anchorage Allstars) had a player with a 5-week injury

That's too much, that's basically half the season, if it happens to one of your main players that's either a wasted season or you gotta sell and likely lose some money. 2 weeks is OK (even though comes out to be 4-6 games), but there should not be any longer

I know that in real life players may miss half or even a full season, but to make the game interesting, they should limit or get rid of these. Big issue when you get up to the higher leagues

Yep, I had to just move him and replace him. Not much you can do about it at that point. But if I hadn't dropped down with a decent amount of cash that I could do that, my whole season would have been shot. Could have managed a two week injury but I would have been dead in the playoffs if I didn't have the means to get anyone else with a 5 week.

Injuries wrecked my season. Two players with well over 100 tsp down for about 3 weeks and a standout reserve for similar. The problem with long term injuries is how much real life time it takes. I lost this season to injuries and it cost me 3-4 months of real time. We'll see if I am still interested in winning this league next season or not.

I feel like there is a hidden injury prone attribute in game.

I agree.... always have thought so. Perhaps attached to the "fouls more" or "physical player" attribute. Like they hurt players easily or get hurt themselves...

That's possible. I haven't heard of it or noticed it myself, the only patterns I've seen so far are overplaying and age

One of these days I'm going to go through my entire team history and count how many times I've won the nailbiters. That was probably the most epic one ever. Playoff overtime buzzerbeater dunk? Yes please! Bit of a shame both Nuts and I trimmed our rosters to the bone but still fun to watch

No doubt, it was a fantastic finish, caught my attention because of the OT. When it came down to the last shot, I saw the clock at 0 and no shot, thought you couldn't get a shot, then it updated, a dunk? just crazy, that's one way to make sure you don't miss the last shot hehehe

I've only had a few buzzerbeaters over the seasons, either for me or against, they are a bit stressful sometimes

Anyway, good luck, gonna need it lol
