The scores make this look a lot different than what actually happened. With 4 minutes left in both games, in the final Lietuva was winning 75-70 where in the scrimmage, Poland was winning 72-70. So the scores were very similar late into the game, but the fouling is what made the final scores as wide of margins as they were. The randomness is there, but it is not as crazy as these scores make it out to be. Very cool experiment, though!

Just a very obvious question on the very first example of the thread: are we sure that HCA exists for the scrimmage? I see that the scrimmage is played in a different court and I dunno if this court belongs to a Lithuanian manager as well. Well, even if it does, I guess that the HCA might have a different weight in the two games.

I've always thought that defense grades do not depend on whether you have the HCA or not (in the same way they do not depend on whether you play CT or TIE), but just on the GS of the players and on the enth of the team.
