Ok, so Juice thought the inactivity line was 5 weeks but I sent him my counterexample and he said:

Good question.

Could be 6 or 7 now, and I'm wrong as usual

Safe to say that no one knows for sure. But if I was you, I would not take any chances. Maybe some teams are sneaking past the date for some reason.

Also, I was wrong. GMs can email the BBs to tell them that a team is about to go inactive and that there is an NT player on it.

So - RIP, once you have added the player to the team, let me know. The sooner the better, in my opinion.

Ok, so Juice also is of the opinion that 5 weeks is the inactivity line. I sent him my counter-example and I'll see what he says.

RIP is one step ahead - Essa is already on team Canada. That would be great to get him released in time for the next free agent release.

I did not notice that. I'll send the email right now.

Thanks for your suggestion, by the way. I learn something new every time I log in.

By the way, this exercise seems to have confirmed the time it takes to go bot. Once a team has been inactive for six weeks, it will go bot at the economic update.

Again, this is not official, but it is what was observed for the teams in question.
