When coach Troy Valmont was interviewed: "We felt that we did play the scrimmage as friendly as a team, we are still trying to establish our identity, as well as make a statement to our league for the upcoming season. The Mountain Eagles opted a sub-par choice of tactic. We had already announced Salas would get a bulk of time in the game for training purposes, and that most starters would play. The Mountain Eagles chose to do a Look Inside offense. Belkhaouos and Salas both took it personally. That was part of the problem. We wanted Quigley to get about as much playing time as Paul today, but Paul would not sub off the court. The boy plays with passion!"

Otherland handed the Mountain Eagles their first back-to-back loss of the season. And coasted to a 94-68 victory over the Mountain Eagles trainees, subs, and Ruiz. Ruiz, did have a solid performance.

Yim Chung Hui was the Otherland POG. Coming off the bench for Belkhaouos cause of foul trouble, and then staying on the court by the merit of his play.
Chung Hui scored 19 points on 8-14 shooting, 1-2 from downtown, 2-3 at the line, Hui added 12 rebounds (2 offense) 4 assists and 1 block in 26 minutes of action.
Paul Salas 18 points on 7-12 shooting, 4-5 at the line, grabbing 9 boards (1 offense) 2 steals 1 block and 1 turnover in 32 minutes.
Quigley only getting 16 minutes, scored 8 points on 4-5 shooting, 0-2 at the charity stripe, contributed 4 rebounds (1) 4 assists 1 block and 1 turnover.
Stuart Watt had his best game as a Champion! 5-7 shooting, 10 points, 2 rebounds (1), 9 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, 0 turnovers in 39 minutes. He also mystified Rabi the entire game with his defense.
Belkhaouos battling foul trouble and Chung Hui, 22 minutes: 10 points, 4-6 shooting, 2-2 at line, converting 9 rebounds 1 steal 4 blocks and 1 turnover.
Falcao 39 minutes, 4-12 shooting, 1-2 from deep for 9 points 6 rebounds (1) 7 assists 2 steals 1 block 2 turnovers.
Thad Barrow 23 minutes in relief of ineffective Zwirski. 4-13 shooting, 0-3 deep, splitting a pair at line. 9 points 9 rebounds (4) 1 assist 1 steal 2 blocks and 1 turnover.

Every player for Otherland scored except Zwirski. and Huey was the only player other than Zwirski to NOT record a block. Champion level defense from the Otherland Champions, hopefully, to prepare them for a championship win in their division!

You know it.

yeah, Citak played so much better than Zwirski, but had horrible stamina. even starting, barely played 30 mins. and always had horrible gameshape no matter what I did... oh well. Both were bad purchases my rookie year.

*music play*
PREPARE FOR TOTAL DOMINATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS..........

Great news Otherland Oracle faithful! In GM Cody Lance's biggest and most blockbuster move since joining the Champion franchise.... Mr. Lance has FINALLY landed a (by D.V standards) BIGTIME free agent!

Joining the Otherland Champions on their LAST POSSIBLE BID before being too pricey... Otherland has acquired Italian sensation Fabrizio Braconi (4378801).
Last season in D. IV 23 playing for the Argonautes as a starter, an 18-4 team that had a close loss in the semis to the team that won the finals.
Braconi averaged 15.1 pts 5.4 rebounds 4.8 assists 1.9 steals 0.4 blocks and 1.4 turnovers a game. Braconi was a .412% shooter from the floor .284% from beyond the arc and .758 at the line.
Translated to the Champions and ignoring the quality of defenses, He would have the highest FG% of all guards on otherland by .020%, be 5th on team in 3pt% and .020 higher than team average, and be 2nd on the team in FT% with almost TRIPLE the FT attempts of the only Otherland player with a higher %, and 6 times as many attempts as their current 2nd best FT shooter, his attempts would put him 3rd on the team behind Salas and Belkhaouos whom, will not be on the team next year, as he is being transferred and already has received a bid so will for sure be departing.

At this time, it is unclear if any more moves will be made, and with the draft not yet occuring, and the uncerntainty.... a "soft" launch lineup for next season at this time will be...
PG: Braconi
SG: Falcao
SF: Barrow
PF: Salas
C: Quigley

Braconi is best at SG but said he was looking forward to running the point with 2 such great young talents as Salas and Quigley. Look how D.V 1, the Otherland Champions have an outside game, a point guard, and a perimeter defender! Add in the 2 towers of Salas and Quigley, and we have ourselves a Triangle Offense? Are you excited!!!???!!!

(to avoid confusion) Salas is not on TL,
