Well Koops tonight is the big night which could decide HCA in the ABBL finals.

Will you CT me to try and sneak the win or will you play TIE and then CT VIOS next game before selling up, with the knowledge that once again you are safe from relegation?

Very good set of questions. The answers can be found in a locked Russian vault next to the small pox virus.

Here are the likely scenarios:
Use a CT and cripple my enthusiasm for next two crucial B3 matches as well jeapordise my run of games towards the playoffs. Will take at least 6 games of TIE to get my enthusiasm back to the levels I have now which is also takes longer because I don't have the luxury of Cup games to use TIE. CT and beat Sid but still run the risk of losing other league games due to the vulnerability.

Or TIE Sid and CT Vios to secure the 13th win and sell up. 13 wins in any season will secure a top 5 spot, its been proven every single season in the ABBL. This is a great way to bank money. Can probably bank in 350k net profit for the next 5 weeks which means $1.75mil not including the sales of the players. Thats 3-4mil to play around with next season. But whats the point of having money if you dont have the glory to go with it?

But then again I've got my Cup, I've got my ABBL ttile, I might choose the path of the Direwolf's and the whitebeards... or I can choose the path of Zazzocalypse and inflict some damage to Sid?

Pfft, bugger the battle for the championship. The battle for a top 5 spot and being certain to avoid relegation is much more interesting, in both conferences.

Ants seem to have given up, so can put them down as being relegated, bar some crazy moves.

WA and Guanzheng have tanked, and will get 7th and 8th in the great 8. But it will be interesting to see if either one makes a splash later on to secure 7th and get a relegation series, rather than autorelegation.

In the big 8, Brisvegas are in 6th, but seem to have semi bought up again, and now have the 3rd highest salaries in the big 8. With their recent purchase seemingly a well rounded SF, they could be tough to beat.

Persepolis with about 700K salaries and sitting in 7th look pretty vulnerable. But they've shown a propensity to buy up in the past, so who knows.

Vios have a solid team, but are only one game out of the relegation series zone at the moment. I'll back them to stay up, but with their last two crossover games being against the top two games in the great 8, they are going to face a fight if they want a top 5 spot (which I expect they do!).

I'm a couple of games clear, and have a pretty decent draw in my remaining crossover games. But a slip up in those games could put me back in the danger zone.

And then there's Stone Slashers. Three games clear at the moment, but with his propensity to randomly forfeit games, plus having a player on the market which, if he sells, could make him vulnerable in his upcoming games, are they safe?

The final spot in the great 8 will be pretty interesting to. Urmummas occupy it at the moment, but with his million dollar roster, I doubt he wants to stay there. Both Chelsea and Yarra Park are only a game clear, and would probably be feeling a bit nervous.

This is where the real battle is ;)

My read on you is this.

You know the game well enough to realise that with myself having HCA that you will have to use more enthusiam than myself to have a chance of beating me tonight and that given that it is logical that I will play normal, I sincerely doubt that you will play CT given that it would stuff your enthusiam and that you still wouldnt be any certainty to beat me.

I believe that you are a pragmatist and that you realise that with the cash from the Palmeri sale that unless I blow it all on winning B3, that Im going to be hard to beat for the championship this season

Therefore I believe that you will play TIE tonight, CT VIOS next week and tank the rest of the season.

To me, you are saying that BBB is your aim. That means that the national cup will also go to you should you buy early enough. I also believe that you will only sell a couple players if koop does. Meaning you will aim for a treble.

At this stage I intend to put both Riviera and Ott up for sale to finish after next Saturdays league game.

I will then supplement my remaining roster with another guard and possibly 2 talls

This seasons B3 is a once in a lifetime opportunity

I just got annihilated by KK Zvezda je zivot who are one of the top B3 teams this season.

I'm sure you will put up a better fight then I did.

With a double GDP and being the only team out there trying tonight, I suggest that I may have misread you

I still believe that you'll buy at least one player, even if you guys don't sell before 1st stage of BBB is over. If so, cup is your and you will keep advancing in the BBB. By the time BBB is over, ABBL finals will start and you will be unbeatable. I see you getting the treble. I'll give odds of $1.45. Of course if you do sell your 2 SFs a couple of weeks before the ABBL finals, $1.80. Sell those players before cup final = $2.25

Just saying that those SF's are going to make a diff IMO.

I am sure as you both know home court advantage is a massive factor in determining the championship. I would expect you both to go very hard at this. Koop has even been known to throw the odd sneaky CT.

Can't say I didn't warn you.

Much respect to Koop, I don't know if he will win or not it is a 2 point game 38-40 now, but good on him for having a go.

Gave it a shot but Sid has built a great team.

It'll be a scary thought if he bought in a few more big salaried players.
