Actually, I am more curious as to why you listed Larry Spurlock for just $3.5 mil? I mean, if Meek could fetch $5.1 mil, then Spurlock should be worth $7.5 mil-$10 mil...heck, maybe even as much as $13 million!

He's essentially not available for the playoffs, so someone would need to be looking for next season. And that also means also paying over a half million in salary before he starts contributing to his new team. I think that is probably a small group of potential buyers.

good point.

he got injured on the 3rd. if he flips to "1 week" tomorrow, then i wonder if that will make him a bit more marketable. he is only 32, and 3.5 million for a player that age on a national team, with a week's salary carried by the seller, is quite a bargain.

i don't know, but if i had a few extra bucks and a chance at a chance at a championship, $3.5 million would be worth it -- i would be surprised if he doesn't move . . .
