Any American is welcome to contribute to the discussion if I am reelected. The more viewpoints the better IMHO. During the finals, we had the input of about 20 managers. I know you aren't a fan of the offsite, but I think its the most effective and secure way to communicate. In the past I know we have have a PR guy make posts about U21 in the public USA forum, but I don't really like post information about the team in public places because I know that foreign nations browse our forum looking for info.

During game nights especially Tuesday, I try to be in the #USA chat room and the offsite chat. I am open to other types of communication, but I think the manager should be primarily focused scouting and gameplanning. We have nearly 400 players in the pipeline, and managing all of that takes a lot of time. If someone wants to step up and be our PR point person, I would be all for that to manage the other types of communication.

Agreed. Phyr actually did make some final decisions about TIE during the last Worlds run, we would not stand a chance making it to face Italy let alone walking away with a win if Phyr didn't make those decisions. I stand by Phyr with his bold moves last season.

Of all the debates I've seen within debate threads over the years I've been active, having a prolonged one attacking the offsite is one of the dumbest. I'm not saying you're wrong to do so- you are but that's not my point- but we haven't asked any useful questions for us candidates to answer, which is concerning, unless everyone has just conceded to Phyr already.

I see your point with onsite discussion and bringing media attention back. I know back in the day we used to do recaps for the NT/U21 games, and we could probably stand to bring those back too. Participation for those probably just died out a little, and fewmit used to organize that stuff.

However, I don't think it's particularly wise to have a thread in our public forum that anybody from any country can read regarding what players are up for sale in the pipeline, and especially the skill levels of those players and what pops they're receiving in training. I can see some potential helpful points, but we have a transfer list thread for that.

We also already have a U21 training thread as well, complete with helpful guidelines, along with the old "create a player contest".

Wow is all I can say about this debate. We have seen this much discussion for quite awhile. But while there are a lot of comments, I don't see much constructive discussions going on here. It's attacks on each other.

As U21 coach you will need to be able to be able to bring everyone together with a comment goal. After the elections, if elected, would you be able to work along side each of those running as U21 manager?
