But how can opponent's high OD negate your Patient go-to player if he plays at PF or C spot?

I thought the guy with the easiest match up would take the most shot, guess not. Just check my game with Superfreakys, my opponent started a rookie as SF due to his injured starter. I used patient to exploit that position and yet my PG ended up taking over 40 shots against a same level if not better match up o.O My starting SF got fouled out with one of his worst performance and my backup shot 7-13 but only allowed 13 shots. Also a side note, for some reason my team committed 11 fouls just in the first quarter, possible repurcussion of this tactic?

SG vs PG for me
+1 JS
+4 JR
+3 DR
+2 HA
-3 PA
+0 IS

I will try it again soon to make sure it isn't offensive flow vs OD, but considering my passing on PG is 14, SG is 11, SF is 10, PF is 8 and C is 7 it seems a little ridiculous that it can be thwarted so easily.
