So concede 5th spot and save up for a relegation series against yourself or Zazz?

Well it's nearly half the season and you managed 3 wins so far with that roster. Once Pancakes are done with the cup, it's hard to see you holding 5th. I am just giving you a friendly advice, even though, I rather have you holding on to your roster and come 6th or 7th.

At the current rate, I think Zazz and DFBS could easily dispose of the Great 8's 6th and 7th as long as it isn't Pancakes. Pancakes probably won't be in one of those spots and will probably finish 5th. He has the cash to dictate where exactly he wants to finish and I just can't picture him wanting to risk a relegation series when he is better financially at 5th and he has the means to do so.

While I agree with you, I wouldn't underrate the impact of home court advantage - 7th in the big 8 v 6th in the great 8 would probably be a pretty tight series just because of HCA...

I'm one c-c-c-c-c-crazy cat though! who knows what I'll do?

I also have a fascination with slippers, a fair bit of my cash has been wasted on various pairs or soft fluffy footwear...

It is getting interesting in the Great 8. 6 of us still in the cup and all have winnable games this week. Proabably helps the other half a bit if we all win this week as sooner or later it will be tankapalooza in some league games as the cup keeps getting tougher.

Here's hoping i get through this week and Draw a Div 3 team in the last 32! There's going to be at least 4 of them into the next round so a few of us might get lucky.

Thanks for the posts about me. I love the tournament update and the kudos given to me for doing well for a rather pathetic roster!

I only lost by 4 points to both da fat boy slim and baxter bogans, but i was lucky to get close to both i think.

What am i aiming for this season? I didnt think i was going to get promoted. My team is old and nothing special. I was hoping to stay down in div II and train a youngster. I have a bit in the bank and will buy some bigger salaried players soon, but i know i still cant compete with the big boys.

I have only been in the ABBL once before and disastriously coached the Australia U21 team a few seasons back.

I dont really have the time to go for the title or to spend too much time on the transfer list. I have been backpacking through Europe the past 6 months and am currently living in Oslo. Very hard to be competitive. Actually its very hard to even put my team in!

I still love the game. Its my second favourite online management game behind from the pavilion. Buzzerbeater is far from perfect, but the admins keep updating it.

So i wont be tanking this season, but i wont be great! Keep up the good banter on the forums guys!
