Ok so no B3 for secondary teams. Why not adding another international cup onl for secondary teams. Like you have in football the Champions League ( Which would be the B3 for primary teams ) and than you would ad a certain Euro League for secondary teams?

Besides that, I voted yes as I think it is a great opportunity for BB!

i am a non supporter and i might buy a supporter package to have a second team. (i might buy one anyway if there won't be the implication of this feature). i think i wouldn't join a micronation but a nation i feel connected to. or maybe just a french speaking country to practice my language skills. there are a lot of different motivations to have a second team.

but still i tend to vote NO. as a new user (i play my second season right now), i know how it feels like to start a game where everyone seems to know a lot of things that you can't read or learn in some manual. i think i picked up the game very quickly and may have a shot to promote soon or at least at some point. this is mainly because i play against other newbies and some old managers without much motivation. if i started in a small country where the top teams are from various countries and have a lot of skill and experience BUT do not share it with me (because why would they. not everyone is friendly and helpful) i think my motivation would vanish pretty soon.

i did not vote yet because maybe some of you are right and playing against experienced managers is more fun than playing against bots. but at some point you just want to promote no matter if you play bots or other managers and for some new managers this might be depressing if this is too hard.

_______

i supported the idea of a womens league or utopia, but i don't see many managers buying supporter just for this. in this case it doesn't give you more money but just more expenses. and it doesn't solve any problem reagrding micronations.

hmm...

Hattrick did something different, they opened completely the leagues (i'm not supporter/was never being and i'm managing a Malta Team from my subscription. Before leaving the game i was in Italyand uers was around 900k).

Is it good or not? don't know, i don't follow numeric values.

But it's a try.

For sure, but sorry, probably i forget something, but i don't see the negative in it.
If he plays smart, it's an interesting opponent. Should be a good thing, isn't it? Or you like to be promoted/win just because you have no opponent?

If he plays wrong/as a farm.... Nothing change. Or not?

I have to disagree with you on this matter, I know I would simply hate to play in league with someone from USA or China(once again I randomly picked two nations which have a lot of users/supporters), and I believe I am not only one who thinks like this... We have nothing in common, different language, different lifestyle, different interests, and even different time when we play bb... I probably wouldnt quit bb because of that, or something like that, but my in game enjoyment will be less...

I think this is a "storical" or "linked to tradition" motivation, and it can be understood but...let me answer in this simply way.

you're probably playing with a pc, no? He's done from companies with nothing in common with you. As you told.
And you're also using an OS. you can set your language, but also this is done by different people.
Ok, i'm joking.
Really, Different language but you've not to speak with him (or at least, isn't too necessary). And, don't know where you live, but there are "enclaves" of people from others nation in every single nation of the world, don't think this will be a problem.
Different lifestyle isn't so important in BB... also me and another italian user have different.. same like interests.
Different time is a problem solved because BB is active 24/7, so still don't know where is the problem. I play BB in a different time still from every italian user.

ok someone has to say it: no nation, no border!.. ;)

no seriously, why would it be a problem to play with managers from other countries? i posted some reasons why experienced managers in low leagues could be problematic as have many others. i can understand the other side though, if you are a competitive spirit you may see it as a good thing to play them instead of noobs and bots.

BUT this has nothing to do with their nation. i mean we play in the world wide web who cares where you from. almost everybody speaks english and a lot of managers would probably play in leagues where they speak the language anyway. you have almost as much in common with a user from another nation as with someone from your own. you probably have more in common with him than with someone who doesn't play online games at all but is from your country...

I'm trying to think as a cheater would:

"I'm a cheater, I have more than one team. I do it for fun and I don't want to pay for the Supporter. I'm still active (no one found I'm a cheater). The only thing I should do is continue this way, and now I also have the rules for the second team, just follow them and all will be fine."

Maybe it's not the time for the second team yet; probably it's a good idea for a more challenging game and for more income, but I think BuzzerBeater should improve its "hunting cheaters machine" first.

Ok, we obviously have to agree to disagree:D I will say just one more thing: I will have much more fun playing with 15 managers from Serbia, than I will have playing with 8-9 managers from Serbia and 6-7 foreigners.I can talk to managers from Serbia, make fun of them when I beat them, we can cheer for Serbia together, discussing some tactics, and a lot of other things that I cant do with some foreigner...

I see a lot of managers are really excited about second team, so I think It should be implemented, but make Utopia for them and all problems solved:D

I thought the supporter package does not give an advantage over a team that does not have one.
Idea, not solves the problem of outflow users . its not about the game its about the money.

This seems mostly to be a discussion between supporters and non-supporters.

No, it's more a discussion between people that think that a secondary team could give an in-game advantage through well organized cheating(against other national teams, favoring one of their own teams in league competitions)/farming and the ones that do not care/don't believe so/want to have these in-game advantages/ want to go in a micronation to win it all with much easier competition while keeping their actual team

No one would opposite to a secondary team in a completely seprate league(female league or "utopia" country) from the actual ones, because it would not affect the actual game.

I totally support this. One very important flaw has been brought up by Yellow Cake: secondary teams stealing top draft picks.

I suggest secondary teams get merchandise boost for NT/U21 players from the country secondary team is in. Basically I'd play in USA, train USA NT player and if he ever plays for USA NT, I get same merchandise boost as I get for my primary team when one of my NT players plays for Slovenia.

This would not only prevent the pick stealing to an extent, but secondary team would be much more welcomed in a country if it means he will contribute to their U21 or NT cause.
