[ Using fresh legs is the coward's way out and that doesn't work in these parts.

If by these parts you are referring to the NBA where they have the early March deadline for a player to be on a teams roster to be eligible to play in the playoffs, okay....But if you are talking about BB where...well, lolololololololol yeah right!

Funny enough that it's often the right pair of legs that can get something to work in these parts right here.

speaking of legs, has anyone noticed how interesting Rocket Science' squad is? now up to seven players, all exceptional, 480 minutes split 7 ways, therefore no scrimmages. i've never seen anything quite like it. game ratings are through the roof. i've got him pegged as this season's dark horse for the title.

i just wanted to point this out so it does not come as a surprise when RS beats me like a drum tonight.

They probably all have very good stamina. Rocket Science usually outscores his opponents in the 4th quarter.

and the squad is in good GS. he got his new player up to speed quite quickly, suggesting to me he is training GS -- and why not?

and because the squad is older players, they all probably have high experience.

a very interesting experiment.

Interesting, neither EDH nor Delta tanked a game this week. What with Delta's injuries, I thought he would at least save some GS.

...or they could have both decided to throw the cup and focus on the league. But that'd be too hilarious to actually be the cause.

looks like i won that honor.

but don't get your hopes up -- we're not going to permit you to join the NBBA until you are ranked #1 in the country.

Given my track record in the D2 playoffs over the last 4 years that might be what it will take for me to actually promote. I have lost a home game in each of the last two finals just to make it sting more.
The real question is should I throw in the towel and just be happy with getting this far or go balls out and try and pull the upset. I think if I can add a monster big I could have a shot but that would cripple me financially and is something that has not worked out for me in the past.

It seems like you've just about locked in the #1 seed right? I don't know about getting another player, or how hard your playoffs will be, but going PON in the Cup Finals (I'm sure either EDH or myself would be ecstatic about that) would give a monstrous enthusiasm edge over your DII opponents.

You and me man. Somehow I knew we would draw each other. Playing each other in both the Cup and possibly the Playoffs will be interesting.
