Good start, good group, hoping for a great finish

Pilipinas belonged to the group A, together with Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia,Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan and Pakistan. No China or even Taiwan.:D Last game was a blast, with new faces on the team, the Philippines literally trashed the Kazakhstan 150-104 (28348).

Gwapsak sensation Lyndon de la Peña proved that he is the future of the team leading the game with 27 points and dishing 7 assists. But his co-"Future star" Johnas Dispo contributed 21 points with 10/13 FG despite a bad game shape. These two exchanged words of who will be the future of the NT team during the past seasons. "I'm glad that improved their chemistry now, they really matured as players, not like before when they are exchanging words and almost started a fight", a NT staff said.

Honorable mentions: Marion Benedicto with 18 points, 14 rebounds. Valentino Cupido Denaque in his 1st start with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

Our next game is on 4/21/14 versus Saudi Arabia.

With the new recruit Eugene Putong (27830367) of Global 9 (54288), fans expecting a great potential on him. He showed his Rookie skills from the bus to the locker room by carrying Pete "Pitoy" Montallana's bag. " He still have long way to go, but for now he will be my official PA", Pitoy said. Life of a NT rookie indeed.

Fans of Eugene Putong were sorely disappointed after seeing their idol at the end of the bench and was seen fetching drinks and towels for the players who played the game last night. One fan angrily wrote in the official Eugene Putong's Fan Club page. "Bwesit tong manager sa NT Pilipinas. Ginawa si Eugene ng water boy at towel boy sa mga kasama niya. Ang cheap naman nitong manager nato. Wala bang pera para pangsweldo ng water boy at towel boy? Pagkatapos ginawa pa siya ng bag boy ni Pete Montallana. Nakakabwesit talaga."

Another fan ranted and said. "Ano ba yan? May corruption sa NT natin? Hoy manager huwag mu itago ang pera sa NT natin! Hire some utility guys naman! Si Putong ay ang future ng NT natin hindi water boy!"

Media tried to get Manager Ph-Cezzz's side of the story but he turned off his phone and couldn't be reached.

If he was in the NT, he cannot be fired, and thus when I get bot like I planned because I want to quit the game, he will never start more than $1. Now I fired him because I can...

good thing nga only the waterboy and towel boy incident came out sa media.

most fans will be outraged to know that after the game, when all the NT players were in their hotel rooms, Dispo called Putong inside his room and asked for a full body massage, pinagamit ang Pau De Arco Liniment na favorite haplas ni Dispo.

As a loyal rookie Putong did not raise any qualms about it and even offered Dispo an Indonesian "chick" after his spa session. Dispo gratefully declined as it might affect his Game shape for their April 21 game

medyo tamad po kasi ako na magback read... pwede bang malaman kung ano nangyayari sa NT team?

hello sayo, sa ngayon eh OK naman ang players natin sa NT. Ang goal natin ngayon is yung development ng young players para naman makaya na natin maging kampyon. So far, may mga managers na akong nakausap about their players na pumayag naman na itrain pa ang players nila.
