i think that players minutes DO show up when you buy midweek.. they certainly have for me as when i have bought i check and then train the most optimal position(s)....

when i bought my C last week he had played at PF and as I try to train PF/SF i only needed to give him 24mins in the scrimmage... so unless this is changed then the few Osmosis claims could be real..

Guards:
Trains JS @ 2-3 weeks
Trains JR @ 4-5 weeks
Trains HN @ 4-5 weeks
Trains DV @ 4-5 weeks

Forwards:
Trains JS @ 2-3 weeks
Trains IS @ 4-5 weeks

Wingmen:
Trains JS @ 2-3 weeks
Trains JR @ 4-5 weeks

With the latest edition of now being able to train SG/SF in Jump Shot are you sure of the differences in this regime? From looking at this it would make no sense to train the wingmen and arguably the forwards (unless you really wanted the IS) if you can get handling and driving to pop by just positioning your trainees in the PG slot instead... of PF or SG.... also if the speed for training Outside shooting is the same for PG/SG as JS is for the same positions then you may as well stick with JS as it appears you will get a HN pop for free!

or are you waiting for some help on expanding and elaborating on these sections?

i have followed them as a guide and hope in a few more weeks i can show some sort of findings although my players were no doubt sub level so probably not accurate until theyve had 2 pops in the different skills (could be a while!)

Ah, you said it was a BB!

it took me more than 30min to find my own post. How do you expect from me remembering who answered me one month ago^^

dont know if there is any osmosis training or if this is a bug. But one o those tings must be. Its not anymore only one manager who had this kind of "osmosis training"/bug

cool - its all really helpful stuff especially for someone like me who knows the square root of bugger all about BB.

i did ask this other question before but never got a definitive answer...

is there a danger to train or buy a player in or with a skill that is not needed?

someone responded Outside defence was probably hopeless for a C. anything else thats ill advised?

IS on a PG?
ID & RB on a SG?

i guess JS,JR,HN and PA are key for anyone on the court. How highly do people rank the certain skills... (is it exactly as the help thread or are people finding slight differences?)

Did he play SF or PF for his previous team that week? It wouldn't show up on your weekly stats, but if he did, then it would count towards his training.

just to demonstrate this point.. ive just bought a SG that amazingly has played 48mins already this week at PF... so he will get some free training this week! (although not the greatest of players..) still every little helps!!

In my experience, IS on a point guard can really help if you play an inside tactic. Point guard can take more than their fair share of inside shots.

I imagine the same is true for centres if you play more on the outside.
