I would like to know the LOD advise

I must honestly admit that you have far more experience in merchandising then I have.
My team hasn't gone through many changes over the seasons at all, so my merchandising was prety stable all the time.

But I think the most important diffrence between obira and the other tea is in deed the drafts.

keeping a draft you made in your own team, helps merchandising (a lot?).

I'm not sure, but I think the effect of having (many) belgian players in the team, weighs less heavy then to keep 1 of your draftees in your team. So I guess if you can keep several draftees , the merchandising might be a lot higher (unless it's not cumulative, and 1 or more has the same effect).

I'm not sure how fanmood works on merchandising (fanmood is strongly affected by loosing games, especialy TV games, rival games or being kicked out of the cup early). But as this already has a big effect on your game rvenue, I'm not sure if this is altering merchandising. Indirect it has an effect, as I believe standings has effect on merchanidsing, and thus, loosing games makes you drop the ranks and loose merchandising. But I'm not sure if tv or rival games have extra effect, I'm leaning towards not.

PR man also definatly has effect, but I don't know how much.

And also having a star player in the team (I think they did this to compensate for the high wages they get, and the more they are lowering those extreme wages, the less influence these men will have no merchandising). I'm not sure it NEEDS to be a NT player, of just a player with enourmous wage would be enough?

That's about all I can say about it. And I'm not even sure how much is true.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

(financieel)
We zijn dit jaar echt gepluimd.
We gaan bezinnen in tweede klasse. (en daar terug een beetje meer de vreugde van de overwinning proeven.
(liever koning in II. dan een meeloper in BBBL.

Misschien tot ziens ?
En we supporteren voor jullie behouden redding (we komen uit dezelfde tweede divisie....)

BYE !

Because we are leaving BBBL we can print our "black-list" of mistakes....bad luck.....random shit....
1. We were never a team with lots of money. (we were growing too soon)
2. We started to train two promising youngsters (Van Steyvoort and De Ceulaer) as a PG. with lots of passing and
outside defence. At that moment not bad. But one season later we got ourself a promotion we didn't deserve.
(ask Ventola). Our team was not ready for BBBL.
3. Only Van Steyvoort reached the U21....but we were always training both of them. With those two PG's we were
a real inside team. Inside players are not that expensive.
4. It turned out to be not 'that bad'.....before I started to see there was a problem in potential for both players.
5.So,....we bought Buckner....a real modern player with passing ...ouside shooting.....outside defence...
We were ready to reach the top.....except for the money.
6.At that time we knew we should try to get good Belgian players to reach another level of income.
Also because year after year we were so unlucky with our TV games and rival games....
7. We contacted some managers with pretty good players. (Titeux and Ballaert)
8. First on our list was 'Titeux'. Therefore we had to sell' Buckner'.(maybe our best player)with a loss of money.
9. At the end of the season I knew Stonestars were after the same players. So we've made a deal there.
Titeux went to the richest team (Stonestars) and we could go after Ballaert.
10. True team got Ballaert instead of us. (they cheated a few hours before Ballaerts transfer deadline and so they had
the money to buy this guy right before our nose !!!!!!!!!!!) That day he should be ours.
11 . With no Belgian players for us we bought' Ché'...a very promising young player. But they never let him play in a
decent way. Always so many fouls....and an injurie of two weeks.
12. To balance our income we had to sell 'Brunialti'.....and the fans never accepted that. (fan shop around 60 000 every
week for whole the season)
13. Then we got the news: Ballaert would be back on the transfermarket....So we must look for the money...
Then we've sold 'Klarik' our other star player.(fans didn't liked it)
14. Two days later Ché got his injurie.....and Ballaert was not even transferlisted at that time.
15. Meanwhile we were out of the cup because we took a risk against a team with no owner. (after three times overtime
and my players played too much) That team became a bot team two days later !!!!!
16. We had to look for a replacement....(for two weeks) and that was bad for the money.
17. Al problems seemed to be worth it when 'at last' Ballaert was on the Transfermarket again.....
We made an offer of 2 280 000.....(that was all we had at that time)....and there was Tienen.
No compasion on that side. ....and Obira was broken !
18. We tried too save our ass....but we started to get nervous...took wrong decisions ...lost two times in overtime
Got two more injuries.....and the income went down.....down...down...
19. Last game against Pokola.....we've lost.....but shouldn't we have won ?
20. EXIT OBIRA
21. And they lived happily ever after in the second division.
22".True team"...maybe you are the reason of my defeat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ko han Wu
He's nice but he has no passing. (bad) (that's gonna change.) But he is a SF.
I can train passing again when De Ceulaer leaves the Dragons.
My best future player is Jermaks.....He will become a super power forward with a very nice outside defence.
In the meanwhile Augustijnen will become a nice SF.

I knew for a long time I needed a 'next generation' type of players...
Ko han Wu, Jermaks and Augustijnen are in progress there...even Agusto has the potential.

Ché was becoming a good player...but he's too expensive for a division II.

One thing is sure: we will try to buy a kind of 'Buckner' player. (and hope it can be a Belgian player)
But this may never ever become a frustrated seach anymore....

well, i got 2 things to say.

1) you'll be able to train belgians ( draftees?). Should help out your economy quite alot

2) Ballaert hasn't been trained for 8 weeks... For a player, who is considered a monster that you only see once every 3 to 5 seasons, comming out of the U21, he has dropped to being a good player (but not anymore the monster that he was in comparison with the players of his age). True team has done alot of damage with his cheating.

True Teams cheating has had a rather large impact on alot of teams... the whole II.3 has felt the influences of his banning. Even the results have been influenced ( popo plays T3's ( aka The True Team) full squad, wins 55+. I am T3's next opponent. I get an empty shell infront of me, and win with 129+ ... that impacts the point difference pretty badly, especially for 2 teams who are fighting for HCA, when you know that it will all come down to point difference...)

the only thing that i regret with T3, is not having reported him earlier. he transferred 3x a sum of 1.5M from one account to another, for players who were probably worth something like 200 to 300k on the TL... but then again, you don't immediately check his transferlist records of each team... you only check em when you find it strange that he can afford to expend such a large ammount of cash...

Season 16 has been a sad season for Belgium, and i've seen (as a non GM!) alot of teams got banned ( i've noticed it, because of the large ammount of Belgian prospects that have been lost because of it, not to mention NT players such as Ballaet and Dorchain, who both had to be taken into the NT in order to be sure that they'd be released to the TL asap).

anyhow, i wish you alot of luck in the PD games, and if you would end up in II, use the time to rebuild ;)

@ LoD:

Merchandise revenue depends on a few things

1) NT/U21 player or not
2) if that players play's or not.
3) how well that NT is doing

that is the international lvl.
'local lvl'

1) if the player is a starter on your team
2) his nationality
3) was he drafted by your team.
4) how well your team is doing (winning streak, TV games, Rival games...)

if you have a bench full of belgian reserves, but no belgian in your starting line up, then you could very well end up having less Merchandise than someone who has 2 belgian starters and 1 belgian reserve.

However, you have to ask yourself the question. Is paying that extra 500k to 1M for a belgian worth it's price, for a foreigner with simular skillset?
