You are absolutely correct, and I would like to apologize for using such a poor choice of words. I'm sorry. Further I sincerely wish the makers of this game the best of luck getting this off the ground. So far, they are doing an amazing job.I guess the reason I was so rude is that I am so tired of profit-driven entities in the real world and have been looking for something where that element is not involved. Then I found this- an internet based sim game (I have played sim games without the compuers since card games like Fast Break) about basketball, a game I have played and been around for over 30 years.I really liked the concept of having a hoop team out in the fields of Thailand where we win and add more seats to our stadium and get better. Then drafting young players. Then the transfer list came up.The transfer list is something that isn't present in American basketball. It might be in European leagues, I don't know. Players are traded for other players, not bought. But for a lot of people, playing the market and being a wily GM is what is fun. For me it is not, although if I had a young stud and got rid of him for a ton of dough I would be happy I suppose. Doing it as your primary acitvity on BuzzerBeater seems out of step with the ethic of the game. Or at least how I see the game.Obviously my opinion of such matters is miniscule compared to the amount of time and effort the creators of this game have spent making this forum, this game, this apology even possible. So, please accept my apology and I really do wish you the best of luck.
The reason I did get annoyed about the Mandela comment as looked like an insult to my person not understanding someone like Mandela and the great things he accomplished...
I keep saying, it should be the seller who sets the prize. If he refuses to ask the money the player is worth, I don't see harm in buying him and selling him for more...
So, BBs, put a decent price on a players released from bots, so the daytraders wouldn't have to do their holy mission of saving BuzzerBeater...
