I dont see there being much difficulty in the part of running it because i am confidtent I can do it. Im on BB several hours a day and what a better way to spend my time then managing the U21 team. The biggest challenge will be a personal challenge. I go to college, and as much as this may hurt my chances of being elected I have to be honest, I may not be able to online during the games. I hope that wouldn't effect my chances as this is a game and my future career is more important, but it is very important to me as well to be the coach. That is my number one goal. It is a bigger goal for me to do that then to bring my own team to the NBBA. Oh, and beside that i may have a little trouble with foreign owners :p

The most difficult part will not be day to day or week to week. It will be adjusting from season to season. Every season the coach will be faced with a new group of players and that could mean that they are totally opposite of the style of play your U21 team had the previous year. The coach needs to adapt and not favor one offense or defense. I think that it is important to be open minded and not think that one offense or defense works better, just because it works well with your team. This way you can find the best suited offense and defense to allow the U21 team to perform at its best.

So if you are elected...you think you will only need to make adjustments twice in your term?

I never said that. I will have to adjust a lot. I just said it will be hard to adjust season to season, because you have to get familiarized with a new team, learn their strengths and weaknesses and find the best offense and defense.

As you guys think ahead to being the U21 coach...what do you foresee as being the most challenging part of leading Team USA? Not in relation to winning or losing, or how we match up....but in terms of day to day, or week to week activities...From what you know of what it takes to be an NT coach, what do you anticipate being the most difficult part in running the team?

The most challenging part of leading a USA NT will be communication and generating interest. I feel that the most important role of the coach is to have constant communication on the off-site about tactics, call-ups, and training strategies, and to involve as many people as possible. In addition, it's imperative that as a NT coach, I do whatever I can to generate interest in the team and get other US managers to train U21 players. This is the easiest way to achieve long-term success, but the hardest to accomplish.

I think I've mentioned this earlier in one of my long answer but I'll make it clearer now. Knowing when to listen to my gut, or when to listen to the majorities decision will be the toughest. If I want to run TIE but a lot of the offsite wants to run normal, I need to figure out what to do. The person elected was elected to lead, and it's not really leading if you do nothing but listen to other people. They have to use their own intuition sometimes.

So that right there will be my single greatest challenge as U21 manager.

If your biggest problem is leading why are you even running?

Can't we settle this with a fight somehow? Like get smallfrie, magiker, and oriole in a ring, last man standing wins.

Glad Buckeyefan you are taking this more seriously, but if you had planned on taking this more seriously than last time around, why didn't you get involved at all during the last term? Other 3 candidates were very involved. Hope you will be more active in the future.

Great answer. Fortunately you already have a solid rapport with the community and people value you your input, so that really helps!

That's not what I said

I said that the U21/NT manager is not leading if he listens only to other people. I'm not going to do that. Am I going to do it some? Yes, every past manager has listened to their help at some point. However is there sometimes where listening to their help would be the wrong decision? Absolutely. So I plan to listen to me too. That's not a conflict of leading.
