How can I transfer to the Big 8?

Don't worry, I can help. In fact I've devised a simple 5-step plan for the first 3 Great 8 teams wanting to transfer:

step 1: forfeit all remaining games vs. the Big 8.
step 2: buy a leotard. wear it. do 20 jumping jacks, 1 biceps curl (w/ a 5 lb. or lighter dumbbell), & jog in place for 2 1/2 minutes. you need to be physically fit to pull this plan off. but not *too* physically fit, if you know what i mean. shout this: Relegators! Mount up!
step 3: forfeit each season 18 game taking place in the year 2012. (including relegation games if applicable)
step 4: re-promote, this time into the Big 8. pull out your strap and lay them busters down.
step 5: reward yourself with a can of room-temperature Tab.

Teams interested:
2. Bruins
1. EDH Wolves
3. ? (1 spot remaining!)

The gap beween the conferences is ridicuous right now. I don't remember it being his bad even when the Big 8 was dominant (at the time what made it dominant was the strength of the top teams, whereas now the Great 8 is so deep that it has 6 title-worthy teams).

Kind of frustrating to win by 17, on -1 effort, and fall in the standings.

Amazingly, the 6th place team right now (FTF) would be in a PD-tie with SM for first if he were in the Big 8. Of course, SM hasn't had to go 100% given the relative weakness of the Big 8, so that's a bit misleading, but still..

7... I am the one bringing down the bar. :)

To be honest, I went through quite a tough path to get here, III.1 then II.1, and those were very difficult to manage the economy, build an sizeable arena, and put together a good team.

The one big bonus is here is that income is so high, so generating a profit is not so difficult.

But this is a crazy-difficult conference to survive - probably the worst to promote into. It's a complete struggle to control minutes. If I did not enjoy this game so much, I would probably have given up a couple of weeks ago.
