Unfortunately I was unable to see any of the tourist attractions as our factory/office is in Pingshan, which is basically and industrial city. The workers come from their home towns, live in dorms near their factories and only head back home once a year for holidays during the New Year celebrations.

I was lucky that there is one Aussie up there who made sure I was well looked after and he even speaks relatively good Mandarin. Was very different being the minority and seeing how people reacted to the only two white guys in Pingshan. Some not so friendly and some honest shocked reactions from the locals. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and took in as much as possible. Great to see the people I work with in their own environment and put faces to names. Apparently it is likely that won't be my last visit!

One important lesson learned, watch out for ganbei baijiu... Your stomach will feel like you were drinking battery acid for a couple of days after. Ganbei meaning "cheers or bottoms up" and baijiu being the Chinese wine. We went out with one of our suppliers for lunch and if the host offers you ganbei, it is rude to turn it down (or so I was told...).

Would love to see the attactions you mentioned above and I'm sure one day it will be a likely thing. HK was amazing flying out at night too, have to see it to believe it. The airport is equally amazing but somehow extremely well organised and easy to navigate.

Not really, looks like a matter of HCA will win the day... Assuming you both keep playing inside and m2m defence. Will be close but I think you will win, up to Vics to try something different.

Come on Aussie you can do it!

They got 37 free throws, I doubt that will happen again but losing the rebounds 53-30 was horrible. You need a solution to that situation unless it was a one game fluke.

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie,
oi, oi, oi!

Well done Aussie Dude a great match and a well deserved promotion. I guess I hope you land in a better situation than I did and can have a chance to fight to stay up.

Congratulations Aussie! Nice to see another champ from the Great 8. Goes to show that a bigger salary does not always win. I would love to see your player's stats to see what they have that allows them to get the job down at less cost.

Bad luck Vics, two decent cracks at it in a row. Will be interesting to see if you can go 3rd time lucky. Hopefully you won't become the next Beechy. Well done on your MVP victory also mate, like I had been saying for a while now, Orovitz had been looking the goods for some time. Well deserved.

Now on to draft and to see which ABBL relegate we get along with the new teams promoting. Bring on season 19!

The ABBL relegator you get is a big thing.

Hadders made it to the cup finals and already has a stacked team and the will to win.

Iwen has an amazing roster already and at least $10,000,000 still in the bank. Does he want to win or will he be content just training for a season? I don't know if even he knows.

Zazz is probably the richest Aussie BB team ever besides WA IS A DUMP but she has sold off some key assets and keeps her cards really close to her chest. She has a plan but I don't know what it is. If she wants to promote she promotes.

Finally the Seagulls, by far the weakest of the relegators I have a mediocre roster made up mainly of guys who are very cost effective. I do have a couple of stars and all my key players are 27 or less so I have a team for the long haul, cheap but efficient. Obviously I will be looking to add some more talent once I see where I land.
