ehhh, 2-11 for a start?

Ok. From the chat it looks like I did a mistake. They are playing pricneotn vs our 'inside' guess. Also Argentina so far beating Chile. Unless its a CT its a terrible news. So far 28-31 in our game

Good news guys! We managed to turn it back on in 2nd half and won comfortab;y 90-71. I hope that was our worst game in the tournament because our offense was abysmal. So many missed bunnies and FT...... Luckily defense held up even though I predicted GDP wrong (reasons for that in the offsite, but basically I thought the only risk of losing will be if they play inside, we dont, and they get perfect GDP so wanted our asses to be covered in that case).

What I am really dissapointed with is that only morwood stopped by (and unfortunately it was at a moment when I had to go get some files so couldnt reply to him and he left). For comparison, Venezuela had 5 guys there having conversation. Big contrast and shows lack of activity.

Anyway, back to the game. Other matches played into our favor. Chile won after a late comeback and a 3OT thriller. If you think that one OT inflates the stat go check the boxscore and see what3OT does to NT........scary stuff.

In other group USA won vs Colombia 86-80 but I dont think they would have won without GDP. It just shows how strong Colombia is at home. Kind of wish one of those teams was in our group so we could avoid them in semis but it looks like we will have to beat them both on our way to championship (we are not going to be favorites in either game).

It was plenty :D but I hoped more people would show up since we are entering decisive stage.
Unfortunately I had to leave at half time so didnt see a comeback All I saw was blown layup after layup after layup.....

I was there at the start of the game but I was alone and as you said just saw blown layup after layup so i inevitably got distracted. Sorry.

k guys. Another win, moving on. Next week is a huge game for us. We will be facing Chile. Although a loss is not going to be fatal, it will put us in uncomfortable position before last game in a group stage. Please go to the offsite at some point this week to express your thoughts.

Guys! Griffin created a game thread a week ahead and I am thankful for that. I am facing a couple of questions and would like to get input from Canadian community (and kozlik as well). This will be the toughest game this season in group stage and will most likely determine our seeding.

Wow. That one is entirely on me (and those who refused to show up to off-site and knock that stupid idea out of me :D

The good news is that we just found out that 2-3 sucks at stopping inside attack, and that over 2 levels advantage in rebounding doesnt actually guarantee significant edge in number of rebounds a team pulls down.

Another good news is that Ecuador used extra enthusiasm on Venezuela. Going to make our jobs easier.

Oh boy. Turns out Brazil beat Colombia and winner of our group would play them in semis. If I knew that I wouldnt experiment. Oh well, we got to beat USA now, and at least we know what works and what doesnt now.

Ok guys! I would like all of NT players owners to train GS next week (and hopefully the week after). Biggest games of the season coming up. (well, maybe Beanerz has a case to continue training young stars and just keep minutes perfect)
