New info. If you click on a thread with more than 10 new messages from the Sneak Peek page, you get a URL that looks something like this:

(/BBWeb/Forum/read.aspx?thread=14247)

If you click on a thread from a particular forum's page, you get a URL like this, though, with a specific "m" GET parameter.

(/BBWeb/Forum/read.aspx?thread=14247&m=302)

In the first case, I always skip a page when I use the arrow. In the second case, I don't.

(Edit: Minor side issue... your entitifying is broken. What should just be an ampersand in the linked text above is showing as ampersand-semicolon. The link itself is OK.)

I'm not quite sure, but I guess this might've been fixed already. At least I haven't experienced any overshooting today... Previously did quite often.

I had this one marked as high priority, and it just happened to be on the same page as the OT ratings bug thread I just bumped. This is also still an issue. A very, very old one.

So I did the quick fix and made the links off the sneak peak have the m=[message] like the link within the Forum page.. now obviously there is a deeper bug in the read page, but I didnt write that page, so its hard for me to figure that out, so I thought you'd appreciate as much as i could do.

note i know there is a problem when all the messages are read, I have fixed it, but it will have to wait till tomorrow to get "bumped" to the live site.
