I gotta rectify you on Bronson. He has had an unbelievable season of training.


Well, so did Milot, which I think is RIP's point. I think Milot will push $100,000 in salary next season. He is probably close to getting capped. He was definitely the best player on the team and it will be a while before Canada has another U21 player with his skills.

I could see Bronson scoring lots of points on Arel, even though Arel is still a good defender, but Milot was hands down the best defender on the team.

I thought you were going to TIE Brasil? ;-) I suspected they would crunch you in their last game - getting Peru was really the only way to get through to the finals. Although, after a crunch, Peru will be no cakewalk for Brasil.

By the way, we do have an 18 yr old coming up who will push Milot for the title of best ever Canadian U21 PG. I just hope he gets trained right. I didn't even know you could have skills like that by 19 (more details on that to come in my best-of-the-best series).

Can you tell me what the name of that PG is? I am very interested in buying a Canadian player to train and he sounds be perfect! I might have to have a little chat with his manager ;)

Leonard Speakman (10638139)

The manager is not very talkative, not sure if it is because of a language barrier. If you could convince him to sell him to you, I would appreciate it. ;-) He has done a great job of training so far, but I would prefer him to be in Canadian hands.

You speak Maltese? You obviously have the inside track on other Canadian managers when it comes to this specific set of negotiations.

Assuming the owner would be willing to part with him.

Seriously, though, this guy is probably even better than all the 19 yr olds I am scouting - he is that good. I would not be surprised if he starts for the team at 20, but of course it would require the right training.

On the other hand, his potential is certainly good enough for the U21 team, but I do not know if it is where it needs to be for him to be an NT starter.
