Just a few things...

a) If I had 3 more players (2 in better conditions and 1 not injured) I would play NORMAL and won as well if you played TIE, but I hadn't.... so I can't risk and I had to play CT

b) Enthusiasm for NT it's a little bit different than team enthusiasm

c) Belgium is 10th of World Ranking, so the probable second team on this pool is Belgium... I say probably, because Danmark, England and Georgia too are better than my Cyprus team! If I lose the first game I would be out immediatly, now I've changed the balance of the pool and we have to see something different on W and L.

d) I study the calendar, that's why I've made this hard decision, because it's a risk for me too... "I won with Belgium and I'm second"... no way! That's not my thought, but to reach second place I've surely to pass over this victory against you and let's hope that "something will happen" in the next 3-4 matches for other teams :-)

the Cypriotic coach took a gamble, and it paid off for them by winning against us.

I don't think it's the time already to be able to tell if it paid off. The crunch more or less made it so that winning the game would be expected.
It's what comes behind...
And that's what I try to explain all the way.

I don't mind the crunch, I don't mind they won, all I am worried about is that now they have shifted chances between teams.

If they indeed manage to win their games to come, in such a way that they end second, and that they hold enough enthousiasm to go on, I'll be the first to admid it was briliant play.

If however they have arranged to have a weaker team advance, or advance themselves in a weak condition, thus making it easier on yet some other team which eventually can hurt the better team in the end, I can only weep.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

guy's, we got the win, but we got 2 major problems: Danmark is number one, and Cyprus is number 2! England fell for it...

so the number 2 battle is between Danmark and Cyprus. if we want to join, we'll need big wins to start with, and whats much more important, we got no margin for error anymore. Cypurs managed to pull it off...

so If I understand correct, we now first face England, and then afterwards Germany? and then this round is over?

We are alive! But the way to the second place is still long. This is the situation:

Our point average is too weak, so we need to finish with one more win than Danmark. For that 2 solutions (if we suppose that Danmark will lose against Germany):

1) we win against England, we lose against Germany but Danmark loses against England (the two teams have played CRUNCH today).

2) we win against England and against Germany.

If we win against England, Cyprus will have too delay in the point-average to finish ahead us. So in this case, we will be sure to finish at the 3th place.

Maybe our biggest regret won't be the game against Cyprus, but the games against Ireland and Albania... But before regrets, we have to win against England :)

Joe, i don't know how you pulled it off, but letting Danmark try harder than us, and win it, that is just amazing man! you pulled a rabbit out of your hat, congrats for that!

still we got to beat England, and they won't go without a fight. so let's first get the next match, and then see how unfold themselves.
