When I was a youngster, I wanted to be seven feet tall and play center for the Chicago Bulls, just like my favorite player, Artis Gilmore. Maybe he’s not the greatest player ever, but it’s a crime that he’s not in the Basketball Hall of Fame. You can debate his skills all you want, but nobody had a better fro. Ever. The day he put on a Spurs uniform was a very sad one for me. Rooting for Reggie Theus just wasn’t the same as rooting for old number 53.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Gary "The Glove" Payton. My ideal player is a defensive-minded PG. I like Chris Paul too but he doesn't seem to be intense enough when he plays. He always seems to be too cool and calm. Rondo *might* be my 2nd fave of all-time. Not sure on that one yet.

Chris Dudley when he played for the Knicks. I was always impressed by a guy who could collect $6M a year for hanging out on the bench and hoping Patrick Ewing didn't hurt himself.

Or, more seriously... Charles Oakley. He was always great on those tough Knick teams with Ewing and company.

Gianluca Basile.

I like the way you think… I'll see your Basile and raise a Pozzecco.
think white chocolate — even less interested on defense and more crazy on offense.

Does he walk off the court and eat a burger when the other team has the ball?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

Detlef Schrempf. Nuf said. Ya know, so long as defense doesn't come into it, and we're just talking about horrible hair and the ability to bust heads from outside.
