rebound is not worth the price you have to pay for having it,if you can sustain this price surely it's not bad...but a SGs don't pay Is and ID and these skils could be much more useful than rebounding, only to make an example

I am in favour of training some big man skills on some guards but any manager thinking about doing it has to be realistic about how long it is going to take to train. (and how much it might add to salary)

im not too big on ID for a guard, but Respectable or Mediocre is always nice to have on IS for a guard. Like stated above, the dunks and just inside shots get taken numerous times.

Why is it that many people want PF's to have some OD and JS, but when it comes to 2guards most dont want IS/ID; aka pitifuls and awefuls being acceptable?

They are wrong, you have to search more Is and Id than rebound in a SG
A guard will take few rebounds in a game(this is not completely realistic game when you can have a Rondo or Kidd that can take many rebounds in a game),he will use much more IS(+ driving) when he had to shoot near the basket or Id when he had to defend 1vs1 against an adversary Sg who shoot near the basket
Surely sometimes you are forced to have less IS and ID to have higher JS-OD-JR-PAS,the primary skills for a guard
Rebounding is one of the last skills you have to see for SGs,if you can have it,that's ok,if ou can't have it you don't have any problem

I just said that for a SG I think it's a good deal to pay 10K more salary if his Rebound skill is 8 instead of 1.

No,because you don't have great improvements thanks to higher rebounds, you pay more on salary, and your player can develop less in primary skills because rebound have an influence on potential cap

i also like guards who could rebound, and the extra salary i get back throw cheaper big men who are behind in rebounding compared to my opposition.

Rebounding and Passing are skills, (nearly) all my players got.

PS: but for a U21 player this training is a no go, for a guard, in my eyes.

And i rate IS and ID very low for guards, because both skill make little difference in scoring in my opionion.

Well, when you play look inside you will often see that your guard drive to the basket and make and inside shot. With good inside shooting he will score a lot against the opponnent. The inside defense is used to stop the inside shots of the other players.
