6 trainees each trained every week for 48+, almost the perfect season, no injuries, no crazy coaching, no foul outs.

24yo 6'9" SG 4
23yo 6'2" SG 9
23yo 6'7" PG 7

time to necro this thread

SEASON 14 TRAINING POPS

every season i start this thread to see how many pops everyone managed with their trainees this season instead of a new one i thought it would be neater to just continue the old one

people like to talk up how much they think they can achieve but i like to see how much was really achieved

if you can format your answers a little like mine it would help - thanks

i use buzzer control abd a spreadsheet to keep fairly accurate records- highly recomeded

level 5 then lev 6 trainer
2 weeks of team training (never sure if i should include ft and stam in this study)

xie 24 6'2" 48+ every week 8 pops (js jr od ha dr dr st ft)
radaslow 23 6'5" 1 week of 47 the rest 48+ 7 pops (js js od ha dr st ft)
barlas 22 6'2" 1 x 47 1 x 42 1 x 27 rest 48+ 5 pops (js jr od ha dr)
silvano 21 6'2" 1 x 47 the rest 48+ 10 pops (js js jr od od ha ha dr dr st)
aden 18 6'1" not owned first 2 weeks, 2 weeks of 0 the rest 48+ 6 pops (js jr od ha dr dr)

So when you guys do two position training, lets said you're training wingmen or something, do you play your small forward as a shooting gaurd and vice versa?

Why would you need to do that? Wouldn't playing your SG as a SG and SF as a SF make more sense?

Don't remember who, but someone (or group of experts) said training JS as guards is the fastest.

Well JS for forwards also trains IS so it can depend on what you need for your players.

Training JS for Forwards is the best because of the added IS training! If you combine this with 1-on-1 for forwards you get pretty balanced skills in JS, IS, DR and HN - thats pretty much 4 skills for 2 skills trained.

No, I think training for wingmen is the best. It trains JS as well as JR, DV, HN and IS. I think training JS for wingmen is very nice :)
