What do you mean by 'fanbase'? I do not believe such a term exists in BB. It is not season ticket holders, for those are determined at the outset of a season and do not change until the next season.

Was this by incidence fanbase the previous season? I wonder where I get that word.

I think yanivsag makes an interesting point here! It is not about how much one sells but rather it is about the percentages. It does seem that in the initial arena's of 5000 seats the sourtside seats ratio is mostly undervalued. If this research can determine the ratio's than a decent arena can be built. Of course there will always be fluctuations in spectators due to changing performances but if ratio's are applied you at least make a rational decision to maximize profits based on a solid argument.

Since you mean 'season ticket holders' you should remember the number of season ticket holders does not change during the season.

Further, there is no set % for the seats like in Hattrick, here your higher priced seats will sell about the same every game, while your lower cost seats vary from selling out 1 evening, and staying half empty the other evening.

I'm not picking on you, but can you show me where the rules refer to this?

If it is there, I would like to know more about it.

I cannot find any reference to anything like this in the rules.

I do understand that crowds fluctuate with wins, but I don't see where 'fanbase' is explained.

I don't think season ticket holders = fanbase at the start of the season. The season ticket holders are the diehard fans that will come to your games no matter how good our badly you are playing. Everyone else comes based on how well you are playing.

Speaking of season ticket holders, wouldn't they pay for their season ticket packages at the beginning of the season, rather than game by game?

I agree, but what is fanbase? I keep asking, because I do not see any official rules reference to this concept. Absent any official reference, I do not think it is wise to talk about fanbase when we don't know what it is, nor if it even exists.

Winning brings in more fans, losing cuts into that. How is that 'fanbase'?

Yes, fan base is not an official term. People use the term fan base in a general way to describe people who come to the games.
