Anybody get lucky and hit the jackpot this draft?

If by "lucky" you meant scored the #3 pick before relegating after spending $30k each week since the All-Star break, then yeah. I've never scored as big on the draft ever since I drafted Lowell Webber and Clinton Cantrell for the Season 5 draft. This will be each of those guys 10th season as starters. My how time flies.

After this draft, I'm not investing any more money in scouting unless I end up in D.II some time in the near future.

Yeah I was majorly bummed on missing out on the guys ozanp and goats snatched up, but like you said even though my pick didn't fit into my training at least he will bring in some money. Plus I couldn't have tanked my way into what I wanted without running into a relegation match with you, and in the end it was more important to secure another season here in D.III. There's no way to buy a spot in D.III on the TL.

I miss the D.V draft experience though, when there were only 2-3 active teams plus a bunch of bots, and the active people didn't appear to be ranking draft lists anyway.

I guess I did know that but didn't think of it was looking more for your alls perspective thanks for the link though. I did see Oznap unbelievable...................hope he knows what to do with them.

A bit of a reunion for me. You boys might not remember him but I do as he went 2-0 against me when we were both in this league. The first one because I underestimated him. The second because my star player was hurt.

The _Broncos_ have promoted back into my series and yet again, I have them for the first game of the season. Someone talk me out of CT'ing him. :-)
