Could you please elaborate more on this.
Sure....If a player has a TPE of 700K and the player sells for 1.95million and the Manager is hit with a 700K fine. Then a cheater/day trader was caught because the TPE was there to give the Cheater tools a base price to go off of. It's like the cop who doesn't pull over the driver going 56KM in a 50KM zone. But if the driver comes through at 62KM he gets pulled over. I think the cheater tools work like this...Sell for 200K more than TPE..OK but a million over...Zap....BTW..That was a true story. The manager got zapped with a 700K fine..The manager thought he shouldn't have been fined because the fool on the other end hit the bid button. So the TPE is there to catch cheaters/day traders so it isn't useless.
Superfly does/did it, do you think he is a joke??

No...I think of Superfly as a BB3 Champ, yeah He used to day trade but I haven't seen it since I've been playing(season 7)...Maybe he just needed a push to get started..And Yes..I think he is a joke..1.1 million dollar roster in Japan Div.2. Maybe crazy is a better word...But he really wants to win the cup...
I'd say that being pushed on the swing is akin to using training to success because all you have to do is get 48 minutes each week,

Are you kidding me? This is a basketball game..Watching the game unfold is the best part of the game. Managing minutes, salaries..The training...That is the best part of the game.
What's wrong as being known as a Day trader?Day trading requires a lot more skill to pull off correctly.

That is why I don't want you to be a GM in my region.....

i have read a lot of what you say yellow cake and you seem very smart and serious: respect

but you are wrong about one thing and it is probably a cultural thing, you japanese are very serious, in australia it is part of our culture to tease everyone and make jokes about everything

and that is the case with naker, we all love to tease him and call him a "dirty day trader" and say his team is so old they get bulk discount on dentures and stuff like that, but he is very popular and liked a lot

cant say i agree with a lot of his opinions

cant say his way of playing is my way

can say he is very knowledgable about the game and is very popular here in oz - even if he is a dirty day trader :P

I don't think he got fined because it was over the TPE though. I saw a player just last week sell for 3 million over the TPE, but he was certainly worth it. The TPE, as far as I've seen, is often completely wrong. So I don't think GM's would be basing the fines on this. I could be wrong though, only a GM could confirm or deny this.

Are you kidding me? This is a basketball game..Watching the game unfold is the best part of the game. Managing minutes, salaries..The training...That is the best part of the game.

I didn't say training etc wasn't fun. And whilst this is a basketball game, it is also a management game. And part of management is trading players and trying to run a better team. As for being the "best part" of the game, that is a matter of opinion, and while I agree that training is a lot of fun, I'm not sure why you think day trading is so bad. I'm sure you agree that it is advantageous to the teams that do it right? So you just don't like the idea of it?

That is why I don't want you to be a GM in my region.....

It isn't like I would be telling other managers to day trade. So me being a day trader should not really have any impact on being a GM.

The tpe helps to find the drastic cases, and maybe is sometimes a orientation for the value - but it is far away from a speed trap who gives accurate value:

Jump Shot: phenomenal Jump Range: sensational
Outside Def.: wondrous Handling: prolific
Driving: marvelous Passing: prominent
Inside Shot: prominent Inside Def.: prolific
Rebounding: proficient Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: inept Free Throw: average

Experience: average

Transfer Price Estimate: There have been 7 recent transfers of 25-26 year old small forwards with phenomenal-legendary jump shot and superstar potential. XXX YYYi is probably better than all 7 of these players, but the few that are most similar have been selling for around $ 1 200 000 to $ 1 800 000.

If someone buys him for 2,8 Mio i won't fine the seller, i would congratulate the buyer for the good deal ;) And i believe it would be still a good deal for him when he even pays 2 Mio more then the TPE.

So you just don't like the idea of it?

The two things that I hate with this game is Day Trading and Renting Players...They fixed the renting players for the BB3 but should have extended it to Cup tournaments too. Just look at the Japan Cup...Sharman went out last week and spent close to 20 million on players. He will sell next week with out a care in the world( losing some cash due to the taxes). I wouldn't doubt that Sharman already has buyers lined up. Now he has a 1.1 million dollar roster in Div.2....
First...They need to freeze rosters from the 64 on...That would mean that he would have to pay those salaries for 4 weeks if this system was in place...
Second....Have to keep players for 3 economic updates...That would put an end to Day Trading and renting players.
It isn't like I would be telling other managers to day trade.

You don't have to...What's the old saying? "Actions speak louder than words",

TPE its a really joke as far as about judging a players value and its not a tool that the GM's use for fines. I remember an extreme case when i was a GM, that someone (cheater obviously) sold a player with max worth lets say 3M to 10M (i dont remember exactly the numbers but you can get the idea). After that sale all the similar players had a TPE up to 10M...

Day trading: As far as about me economics its an other important part of the game so if you can manage to make profit from the TL is fine with me. From the other hand its very suspicious if someone doing it a lot with super success isnt it?

P.S.Why an English speaking country like the U.K. or Australia needs an LA?

there is also a language version in british english, with small differences like Centre instead of Center. I played with it a while, because they had a better formulation in the engine a while which i didn't like in the US version(even when i play mostly in german now)
